  1. If this goes ahead, a word of caution traffic wise. It's the Sandringham Flower Show tomorrow which always adds extra traffic to help it along there are a couple of road closures in the town itself which have caused rush hour chaos. So use the by pass and allow a bit of extra time.....or alternatively pray for a sunny evening and a sun delay
  2. According to the clubs Facebook post Holder is riding!!!!! That's either poor proof reading or he's appealed his ban and its overturned. Maybe that's why we have had no Holder statement. Nothing would surprise me.
  3. I can understand Lambert missing yesterday. He took a massive off and immediately held his wrist and it was pretty obvious he was in pain. Adrenalin got him thro his third ride but then the long delays meant his last two rides was very much under par. That hit him personally remember not any club,5 or 6 points is a lot to make up in a World Championship. I guess he then had to make the decision to ride Monday or not. Of course he could have waited until Monday lunchtime and then told the club but he didn't and gave them time to sort some sort of replacement. He has to ride again sometime and he is riding for one of his own clubs, not guesting. I'm prepared to cut him some slack on this occasion. If however he becomes a serial offender I might change my mind.
  4. oh thats far more sneaky than my plan.....I like it, not a lot
  5. Seems ages since I started a new topic and as no one else seems bothered here goes. Nothing on Lynn website so far at 0941 on 25/7. Weather forecast is far worse than last weeks, which was postponed. Apart from Porsing no team news has been forthcoming. This is Star Lady, King's Lynn for the BSF
  6. I agree with you in principle but when a rider takes the proverbial out of the club and the fans, not for the first time, there is understandable anger. I don't think it's vindictive in all honesty, it's karma. As for other riders taking notice, I seriously doubt they would. AFAIK Lynn is a club known for paying riders and paying them on time. There are some clubs that do not have that reputation but it hasn't stopped riders signing for them
  7. But if you want the sneaky scenario. A club signs a rider in advance to come in on 28th, keeps it quiet (not sure how feasible that is) and at 6 pm on 28th sacks the rider they want rid of. Could that happen?
  8. Jorgensen & Kai getting what I'd expect....as for the other one...I don't want a ban so will say no more!
  9. I'm reminded of a quote from James Bond. once is chance, twice is coincidence, the third time is enemy action. When's Batchelor's next ride?
  10. Lewis Kerr has just tweeted he is not riding following yesterdays crash. No word on his replacement as yet.
  11. they also asked Robert Lambert but he swerved it quite nicely
  12. Lambert more or less swerved the question. jack Holder said Lynn track that night was dangerously grippy. In a nutshell
  13. Which is as it should be, but the closed shop in Britain ignores it and hopes it will go away.
  14. Says it all when the Polish presenter knows about Lynn vs Poole but Ermolenko had to have it explained to him gggrrrrr
  15. Probably bamboozled by Ermolemko's attempts at the English language
  16. Has Ermolenko actually uttered a sentence that makes sense yet. I feel for Dave Rowe having to work with him cos he is a very good commentator
  17. Hope the lorries hurry up, Ermo is doing my bloody head in !!!
  18. Looking at the line up, Ermolenko could find a lot of new riders again today
  19. I wasn't impressed with Suzi Perry at all. She no longer has the depth of knowledge and as you say "lost it" several times. Not sure about the mikes being turned down, the Whooooaaas were just as annoying
