I’ll probably be blasted for this but Ellis says he had hardly any strength in his shoulder therefore was NOT fit to ride and he put three other riders at risk.

Chris Louis asks if Ellis was fit, do they not have to pass a medical nowadays?

i thought it was 7 days if a facility was granted for his absence but I’m way out of touch with the rules nowadays.

I fail to see how that is fair or equal. A group of three able bodied fans can book together. If one is disabled it’s only two. We had the same problem one year when my daughter was confined to a wheelchair. We did the same as you and then were moved over by stadium staff once inside.

I can’t recall anyone actually saying GB wouldn’t do well, just saying things could have been done more professionally.

I don’t take anything on here seriously. After 50+ years I gave up paying good money to watch processions. This is supposed to be a professional sport but GB can’t even field 3 riders ( in tonight’s case not needed) says it all. I only watch on TV cos hubby has it on, the banter on here keeps me entertained whilst doing so.
