In my defence I have just got in after a rather long lunch with the girls and you should have seen my first effort at typing that -
Kings Lynn vs Rye House June 18th

Must admit when I first saw the date I assumed it was at the behest of BT and the meeting was to be televised but apparently not. Why it's been put in the fixture list for this date and left there defies all logic and common sense. -

France now down to a two man team after their U21 rider pulled out and not being replaced -
Just seen on twitter that the A10 thro West Winch will be closed for resurfacing from 7pm to 6am for 5 days from June 18th. hopefully the early notice will give fans time to find diversions cos it will cause major delays this is to mainly help Rye fans who will use the A10 but it might prove useful to some in the Wisbech area http://www.edp24.co.uk/motoring/a10-north-runcton-near-kings-lynn-major-road-resurfacing-1-5545314

No I'm paying to watch the speedway, which is broadcast by BT. football dictating the cost has nothing whatsoever to do with the quality or otherwise of speedway commentary. Nice try at diversion tactics tho -

As I, and many others, pay for the BT service why should we turn off the sound. I accept some like Pearson's efforts, I don't and as a paying consumer consider I have the right to say so. -

I expect the commentators to keep me informed. They didn't make clear that Karpov's warning lasted the whole meeting, even after he was excluded. They mucked the scores up and until long after it was mentioned on here didn't allude to the fact that USA could not progress following Manzares injury. Less repetition would be good, tho apparently that is at the producers behest. -

Ummm mainly telling us there are race offs and they did tell us US were in a race off but not that it was a pointless exercise -

I doubt given the quality or lack of it of the racing any non regulars would have turned off ages ago. the result of the drilling as you put it is regular fans are treated as morons. -

Sorry but I got the fact that there will be race offs the first time, i really don't need telling after every heat -

I realise the racing being far from exciting makes commentating more difficult but the crap coming from their mouths tonight is ridiculous -

Unless you have an astute team manager, who gives his riders the right instructions. -

I'm very doubtful as to whether the world champion riding is an incentive to lapsed fans. They can see him ride on TV every other week. The days of being able to see Mauger or Olsen once a season, therefore being a novelty, have long gone. -

Just to muddy the waters a bit more surely any ban is a domestic one and does not affect FIM meetings. -
Doesn't Danish priority only apply to Danes? I could be wrong but that's logical........oops sorry this is speedway and logic doesn't apply

If he was banned, Belle Vue would have been granted a facility so no need for a sick note surely -

I It has been well publicised on local social media and newspapers that there would be odd days when the roads would be closed following the main closures. You simply have to read those papers or follow The appropriate twitter feeds, Norfolk Highways is quite good It was never publicised in our newspaper, nor social media. Stage that those odd days co-insided with Speedway meetings. Wonderful planning. You obviously do not read the right newspapers as it happens I travel a lot and as a matter of routine check the highways sites before setting off. Maybe I'm just more organised but I believe in being self sufficient, and don't expect venues to tell me of every possible traffic problem. Well of cause you wouldn't, You have plenty of time to waste on those things. When I was employed, I averaged 70K miles a year. If I had to check everytime I made a trip I would never get there. When I was employed part of my job was to ensure the vehicles under my control knew of possible holds up and traffic congestion so I guess it's second nature to me Quoting you re a delayed truck driver I assume was part of the works t was obvious he had no knowledge of any Speedway happening, which highlights the fact there had been no communication between the road work people and that of the Speedway Promotions, and that I find totally inefficient ....... As the works were the primary cause someone in Highways didn't do their job very well if they were unaware of the speedway.....there again it's not exactly a regular weekly occurance any more it is -

For once I'm gonna defend the club!!! Those roadworks in one shape of another have been going on for months, most fans have seen them on their way to and from meetings. I would have thought anyone living within 20 miles would routinely check the AA or Council Highways site . Its very simple to do. -

Only repeating what was on twitter. In an injury prone sport like speedway seems nonsense to me to have to declare a team that far in advance Not sure how us fans are supposed to know what's going on when the GB team manager doesn't appear to know or know the rules
