Nope I'm with you. Totally unsatisfactory start IMO.

Fans have always been treated as mushrooms. What promoters have to realise is mushrooms wither away. Lynn are at present, so I read, bucking the trend and crowds are holding if not up slightly. That has to be down to a successful team. Lynn cannot survive alone so big changes have to be made. I'm sure everyone has their opinion as to what they are but IMO the first has to be treat the fans with respect - without them there is no speedway.

So to those of us not "in the know" your information is no more or less credible than anything else posted on this thread. Don't get me wrong I'm not taking sides but with allegations this serious , both for the individual concerned whose reputation is being besmirched and for the safety of the riders in this and any other meeting, it's my belief that only provable facts should be posted.

I don't and neither I assume do you unless you are Richard Lawson or the referee.

Maybe the whole debacle could have been cleared up quickly had Richard Lawson reported his concerns to the referee and not the social media.

Don't think he's sticking the boot in at all. He is merely stating and opinion and one that any possible future owner/caretaker of Birmingham would do well to heed. Birminghams future does not depend on those fans who go every week, it will depend on getting those that don't to attend. I wish all concerned the very best of luck in keeping the stadium going this season and in the future in whatever league suits it best. It's not nice when your track closes, I know, and I think if Birmingham closes it will not reopen given the local opposition to it.

Not sure Krzysztof Buczkowski would agree with you. Ermolenko called him Dubrovki, Bronoski, brovski amongst others tonight, he just need Debussy and Bronski Beat and would have covered everything. Kylmakorpi was Oldkorpi and NKI was Oldneilsen. There were others but I tune it out as much as possible. If you cannot even get the riders name correct (ish) you really are in the wrong job.

Well impressed with David Rowe,just a shame he allows Ermolenko to get a word in Hopefully Eurosport will realise that the bumbling mispronouncing clown lets their whole programme down and replace him very speedily. They do seem to take note of what fans say

BBCwm commentators were saying Wolves have had a problem with the track water supply. Just wondering if it meant the track was not prepared as it usually is and it's caught the Wolves riders out. Racing is not up to usual Monmore standard. Not that I'm taking anything away from the Lynn team

Maybe in the interests of fairness Racers and Royals should ask Sky why they are not showing a plum EL match tonight, the height of summer when the weather should be good. I'm talking Wolves vs league leaders King's Lynn on a track that usually produces good racing. On an evening when they are no showing any other live sport. I believe there is also a week in July when they are now showing speedway when the weather should also be good. It's all very well knocking Eurosport but let's be fair they sorted the problem. Let's see if R & R can come up with an excuse for the above omission. Yes I realise this is sort of in the wrong section but my point carries over from the above thread.
