I'm not having a dig solely at the Ipswich promotion but until the BSPA et al do something about British youth speedway it's up promoters to give 'our' youngsters as many oppurtunities as possible. Rather than giving endless streams of foreign riders everything on a plate. I have no problem with foreign riders riding in Britain but I find it sickening that you see Aussies,Poles etc turning up in vans provided by the club and seeing young Brits turning up in there own cars.

and that's one of the reason we have no top British riders because no one wants to give them a chance.

I hope there is at least one Brit in the team whether it is or isn't hart.

To be fair to the lad he was advised to take a year out after one or the worst accidents I have ever seen but he wanted to ride for his home club and improved his average aswell.

If Ritchie rides for Ipswich next year maybe Jerran Hart could do a job for Rye ?

The crowd has not been below 1000 with the exeption of wet meetings from my observations comparing it to previous crowds. Remember foxhall is a large 10000 capacity stadium and people spread them selves around the stadium.
