  1. AJ no, Hans easy, Lindback yes, Vaculik yes, .... Woffinden will be in the GP next season IF he wants it. He is young and British, they will want him in the series to replace Bomber. Chris will have to sit at least a year out in my opinion.
  2. Woffinden is nailed on for a place next season, apart from Ward its debatable if there are any better, there are some in there now who are not as good
  3. I take it your mother dropped you on your head when you were a baby, Cook is 25 years old whilst Woffinden has just gone 22 .... Woffinden is already the better rider and will continue to improve .... Woffinden is ready, he may need 2 seasons in the GP to make the top 8 but thats all
  4. Mr Holder may have been top dog yesterday but he is getting slaughtered in Poland today on his own track
  5. Its very very simple, if there is to be a Brit in next season NOBODY is better qualified than Woffinden ..... he would be British Champion if Kennett had not fallen, he is the top average Brit, he will finis as Wolves number 1, he has proven he can beat the best in the WTC, he has the confidence, he can gate, he will attract sponsors, he is still very young .. so all you Premier League dreamers keep doing just that, you have NOBODY to touch him ... NOBODY
  6. Yeah and stick Woffinden in 10 match races against each of them and he would win 9 out of 10 against each, the 2nd division is just that ... why is Ben Barker more deserving than Tai ..... Woffinden will finish the season as Wolverhamptons number one .... Ben will finish the season as Plymouths number one I also rate Adam Roynon above all of them
  7. A few of us will be dead by the time that happens And yet Tai is still the better rider, maybe Chris should try "jet ski's or moto bikes" Woffinden has proven in the WTC that he can compete, he will be better prepared than last time and can gate a bit
  8. I think anyone who lives more than 200 miles away may say different, its more a case of you don't "have" to go
  9. But NOWHERE near as quiet as it will be in Dorset after the play-off final, all we will hear is the plip plop of tears as they hit the ground ... perfick
  10. And that makes it okay to take the piddle, bit rich from a Kings Lynn fan who's team could not beat the FOUR man Panthers the other night
  11. Must be honest I thought it was general knowledge that Michael is not coming back next season, not a matter of Panthers not wanting him, he wants to concentrate on the GP if he makes it and his other Leagues. What was once the British Leagues attraction is now its worst enemy, to many meetings spread over to many race nights
  12. Okay educate me, why do we NEED a World Champion & good SWC team. Many many fans in this country do not give a fig about the World Championship or the SWC, they are league racing fans & would often support their number one in a GP over a British rider, and indeed most do as seen by the banners. So why would other be foolish to disagree ? .. because they don't agree with you ? ... take it from me neither you or me are right about everything, only my wife is that good
  13. But there is the difference between you and me, I dont give a monkeys what Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Australia etc think about British Speedway ... let them get on with there own leagues which I watch quite often and cannot see what the fuss is all about. Races with riders miles apart in Poland is quite the norm, keep it. This is the UK .... I am quite happy with what we serve up, yes it could be better but then most things in life can be. I am happy enough to watch 4 riders racing each other on a variety of different shape tracks. The double, double rule, I quite like it myself ... something different. Do we NEED a World Champion ???? .... I doubt it, it would be nice but not a need. Woffinden may yet be the one for us, if he does get the nod good luck to him.
  14. As I say JT I really do not care, if the powers that be feel they need a Brit in the series then so be it. As for us knocking our own, thats the good old British attitude of fair play whilst the rest of the world laugh at us. If Woffinden is in next season (and I think he will be) he will make a far better job of it than last time. As for the others, Barker, Roynon, Auty, Cook ... they are not fit to clean his bike YET
  15. Some people do not deserve a speedway track, problem is they were probs never around in the days of Boulger, Titman, Wilson, Teromma etc so never got to miss it like those fans have. An earlier post pointed out the attitude of the Cradley fans, the so called Lions fans could do well to learn from them
  16. Could not give a toss about the others "let them qualify if they are any good" .... if they wanna give the Brits a spot fine by me He should have the right equipment by now tho surely, how long does he want/need ???? Woffinden can gate more consistantly than either Scott or Chris & would be British Champion if Kennett had not fell ... he has also only had one year in the GP's compared the Bombers many. Time for a change, we cannot keep making excuses for Chris, Woffinden is the better rider for sure
