  1. No number 1 turning up is costing us dear, not going to challenge for silverware without one. The backup is there now (Rohan, Gino and Morten doing their bit) but nothing to back up!! Over and out!!
  2. Granted, by his standards yes, but at least he scored more than 3!!!
  3. My apologies, I've been misunderstood. Wasn't suggesting a change, but the situation must be addressed. If he had got 8 last night we would have won and the topic wouldn't even be up for discussion. My other thoughts on last night. Camo.....is getting there, hopefully and I'm sure he will, come good at the sharp end of the season. Gino, just keeps getting better and better, loving his attitude. Morten our most consistent rider this year, did his bit last night. Rohan, superb effort, growing into the No.5 slot very nicely. Ritchie gives his all every race, never going to be a grand prix rider but never leaves anything out on the track, including the tapes. Now Adam, super talent, but needs to be wary of doing too much. Over and out, all views my own, surely we are destined for play offs?
  4. Excellent nights entertainment. CL must act soon on the recurring absence of our No.1. The only thing slower around there last night was the tractor.
  5. If we're unlucky we might get a shower mid afternoon. This could be a tight one, as everybody says P'boro 1-5 is strong especially at home so that leaves the reserves, a good showing from Adam and the skipper should see us get at least 3 points?
  6. Hopefully brighter later, they say we might get a shower mid afternoon but evening looks clear. Its a big ask but 12+ must be the absolute minimum advantage required tonight, surely won't be as bad down there again, last time it was dire.
  7. Its just words, the lad has done well this season. I hope he continues to produce. In the mean time it appears I landed a whopper, just slip you back in the water gently with a view to catching you again?
  8. As soon as we saw Risager we knew who would be last, and he just 'poodles' around at the back, straight out of the Miskoviak book of under achievement. If you called the same two, you were wrong, just like he was!
  9. It was a bit harsh on the lad, but CL had the chance to roll the dice here. He said at the start of the season he wanted to base his management style on Peter Adams why not go one better and emulate the greatest of all.......JB! Stick Ritchie Hawkins in ...... Stick Gino in........Stick Rohan in!! Back in the day JB would have a 3 pointer show an 8 pointer then fence so that a positive or heat advantage could happen, the match was won, so why not do something different.
  10. Risager in heat 15 was a joke, any chance of getting all 4 points evaporated. Needed not to come last.....,he was woeful. Adam Ellis crash was awkward, hope the lad is OK
  11. The reason he doesn't ride abroad is that his style is all wrong. What rider, let's say in the GP's, does he resemble? When he had the chance to showcase his talents last year at Lynn, he was dreadful!! Any track that has the slightest bit of grip going into the corners will find him out.
  12. Turn off the 120 @ Dunmow.....go via Sawbridgeworth.....High Wytch then bottom of Harlow head towards Hertford turn off at waterworks and have your 50 pence ready for the barrier.
  13. Hope it's a drying day, there's got to be dampness all the way through, making my way back from a very wet Wales, could be cracker. Any win would be a good win, over and out. Seconds away round 2, if that idiot decides to punch someone in the head this year, I know who I'd like to see him try it with!
  14. Rohan was superb......Camo's pass was best thing I've seen in ages. What happened to Lawson....after The Lord Mayors show last night, you know what follows. Good solid show by the mighty men from the Heath.....hopefully this draws a line under all the rubbish that's been uttered over the last couple of weeks, team changes were never going to happen anyway!! Nearly home night night over and out!
  15. I'll apologise in advance, but what's required here is some 'blue sky thinking' I had this quoted to me this morning by an HR idiot........luckily I managed my senses and didn't stick something sharp in their neck.
  16. Agree with the above re change days round. I wonder about the logistics of a switch for tonight at this late stage in the day.......but possibly not too late to think about running tonight's meeting tomorrow? Be interesting to know if this could be arranged, has been considered or is everybody sitting on their hands.
  17. Met Office radar shows rain from 7 onwards tonight. M'Boro tomorrow not looking much better
  18. Rubbish.....need a No.1 and build from there!
  19. It says everything that it took until 10 o'clock on the morning of the meeting for the topic to start. Just practice really, can't see the mighty witches getting much here?
  20. Thanks for that..........having Richie up there is all good.......happy days!
