Having had the misfortune of witnessing the debacle up in chilly Jockoland a fortnight ago, my only thoughts are that the Ipswich management were hoodwinked into agreeing to that date. Surely this competition should have been put to bed a couple of months ago. Now I might be wide of the mark here........but it appears that the management of our Celtic brethren may well have more influence at the 'top table' than ours. That's bad...............not impressed!!

Given that we are missing two thirds of our heatleader trio, perhaps a downpour, the subsequent rain off and no time to re-arrange before the deadline might be playing our 'get-out-of-jail-free' card with no damage done?

It appeared to go unnoticed, but we did have a No.8 for the evening. The Scunny management team insisted on it! Just how petty was that! What would they have done it we hadn't found one........sat on the startline in protest?

Just watched re-run of heat 10, not got a clue what happened. What I did notice was a lot of 'noise' from surrounding supporters. Be interesting to gauge what they thought, possibly somebody could re-post with English subtitles. Thank you in anticipation of some clarity.

That will do for me cocker! Chris Louis was a world class speedway rider (in case anybody is just on a social visit from another planet), so what he says is good enough for me. I wasn't there so will rely on somebody with vast experience to relay the facts. Hopefully the return visit next week will pass off without too much controversy. We won't want too many of you 'Northerners' sitting around on the track during proceedings, I like to be home in good time for my Horlicks and an early night. And let's remember, the engine in the bike used in the re-run is his Ipswich engine, flat as (pardon the pun) a witches twit. First time he'd ridden it that night so not set up and will shoot forward when the throttle is shut.

As he well knows, I don't always agree with Baldy, but I'm going to agree for the second time in a month. Rohan did nothing wrong. He really needs to be appealing against his fine. I would have been furious if the Ipswich management had taken him out of his subsequent rides. Let's not forget.......it's not carpet bowls!

Good to see the boy Rohan getting 'stuck-in' after quite a few weeks riding round like a pizza delivery boy on a moped. Happy days, long may it continue.
