Ipswich V Edinburgh Lcsf 3-9-15 @ 7-30pm
Roland replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Having had the misfortune of witnessing the debacle up in chilly Jockoland a fortnight ago, my only thoughts are that the Ipswich management were hoodwinked into agreeing to that date. Surely this competition should have been put to bed a couple of months ago. Now I might be wide of the mark here........but it appears that the management of our Celtic brethren may well have more influence at the 'top table' than ours. That's bad...............not impressed!! -

Shame on you Baldy.........just when I thought you were turning into a Tungate fan?[/quote Do you seriously think he could win? Not his type of track at all. I can only see him scoring 4 or 5. Could be 4 or 14................depends which one turns up! -

No Nico!! Going to be tough now? -
Given that we are missing two thirds of our heatleader trio, perhaps a downpour, the subsequent rain off and no time to re-arrange before the deadline might be playing our 'get-out-of-jail-free' card with no damage done?

Ipswich V Scunthorpe 30- 7- 15
Roland replied to Baldyman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It appeared to go unnoticed, but we did have a No.8 for the evening. The Scunny management team insisted on it! Just how petty was that! What would they have done it we hadn't found one........sat on the startline in protest? -
Neck Brace Tony..........you are now starting to get on my **! You really are a very nasty individual. Presumably you will be on the Heath Thursday, perhaps you would like to come and introduce yourself. Look forward to your positive response. Thank you.

Just a thought.......did Auty re-break his previous injury? Was it fully healed? Would it have broken again the next time he fell out of his pram anyway?

Ipswich Vs Glasgow 23rd July 7.30 Pm
Roland replied to ZODIAK's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Doesn't matter if the Weegies get a point as long as we get 3. Someone who needs to pick his game up is Nico, been subdued at 5, just goes to show what a hard gig it is in this league against the better teams. -
That will do for me cocker! Chris Louis was a world class speedway rider (in case anybody is just on a social visit from another planet), so what he says is good enough for me. I wasn't there so will rely on somebody with vast experience to relay the facts. Hopefully the return visit next week will pass off without too much controversy. We won't want too many of you 'Northerners' sitting around on the track during proceedings, I like to be home in good time for my Horlicks and an early night. Thanks in anticipation of your co-operation on this matter.

As he well knows, I don't always agree with Baldy, but I'm going to agree for the second time in a month. Rohan did nothing wrong. He really needs to be appealing against his fine. I would have been furious if the Ipswich management had taken him out of his subsequent rides. Let's not forget.......it's not carpet bowls!
