If there is any way we could sign a17 year old Aussie (who apparently can't be named for legal reasons) we should do so. Doolan will need help in 13 & 15.
I fairness mate you did state it was a rumour, so fair play. From what I've seen Tungate would still be value at 6, but Heeps would be a bit more of a gamble.
I agree with this 100%. Both are super lads and would give their all for any team they were in, but really only PL reserve material. Both their averages would see them in the team at most places. I would like to see a Heeps/Tungate or Heeps/Hart combo at 6 & 7 and build from there.
Yes he is a good captain, just needs a couple of engines. The ones he had this year just didn't like daylight, he got better as the mights drew in!! As for the afternoon bank holiday jobbies.......was it worth turning up?
Anything can happen!....why no predictions? Lets have some fun? Predicting 'no balls in a an over' or something really trivial like how much longer the southern european freeloaders will remain in the eurozone!!!
All the options/selections suggested would work to varying degrees and it all looks very positive. I've just one question?.....When is the 'Jolly Boys' outing so we can start putting some meat on the bones!
I agree, but you need a fairly balanced set-up to make this work. When the boy Nelson gets going and goes up into the team, you really want somebody of equal abilty coming down. The Blueprint was Eastbourne where they were always going to have either Woodward, Bridger or Dryml to help the sacrificial lamb that was the Finnish kid.
I agree......Tungate is nailed on for Redcar, Hart will be good value at reserve. Doolan is no longer No.1 material. Bjerre and Morris would be excellent in 13 & 15 home and away.
Just can't see Harris in the final........he blames the bikes........but he's the one riding the thing! As I see it when he gets to the bend he needs to turn left. Stood by the first corner it Italy.....he rode straight on every time....missed the corner completly, so therefore he was way slow coming out......he appears to be trying far too hard. Mark Courtney needs to stand where I was its obvious, you can't see it on TV or even in the pits.
Or better still lets not mess about.
1. Crump
2. Batchelor
3. Holder
4. Sullivan
5. Ward
6. Watt
7. Heeps
That should take some of the pressure off of young Camerons shoulders.
Can't fault his determination, however its probably his downfall. I watched him on Saturday (on the first bend) and if I had a Euro for every time he rode right past the corner I could be a wealthy man. Courtney is the man to sort this out as he was masterful at keeping low at Blackbird Road. He seems better when there is some material to slow him up. Also while I've got my soapbox out........somebody needs to get him trapping. Its no good just sitting there screwing the nuts of his motor he needs to think about whats required to get the bike going forward.
