  1. I agree with Arson money does a lot of talking when it comes to speedway( as it does in most walks of life) so the fact that a track not a million miles from where he lives is reported to be interested,i for one wouldn't blame the lad. That said surely they wouldn't want to lose Kerr. As for Robbo he goes with my best wishes for the year ahead at Redcar and my thanks for his time at Newcastle.
  2. After hearing what Darryl had to say at the Supporters Club night about a team capable of winning everywhere and challenging for the league,I certainly didn't expect the name of Henry to be mentioned. Each to their own I suppose. Kerr is a must and I wouldn't have minded seeing young Robert Lambert race for us but not at the expense of the club long term. Shame about Richie as at 7.32 I believe he's a steal.
  3. Oh I really hope they don't sign Henry, such a backward step in my opinion.
  4. Heard nothing just having a go at putting a team together.
  5. So how about Kerr 7.54 R Worrall 7.32 Lindgren 7.12 Rosen 6.69 Wells 6.49 Rose 4.15 Greaves 3.00 Wasn't fussed on keeping Ludvig but I think riding away from the number 5 position he could very well score better away from Brough. Also Kerr starting out as number 1 has echoes of last season, but I feel all 7 could up their average.
  6. Robson Ludde Rosen Wolbert Rose Sargent 42.50 Don't think we will sign Sargent and would prefer not to sign either Ludde or Robbo both have a feeling 1 of those will be in the team. Possibly Lindgren and Rosen or neither? What would Kenneth Hansen come in on? Is it still double the Elite league average then 65% ? Think a lot will depend on what happens at the weekend.
  7. For me I would only keep Kerr Rose and possibly Nielsen. At the dinner dance Darren Bond had Anton Rosen on Skype and took him up to join in the speeches. When asked if the chance of a team place came up for next year he said he certainly wouldn't rule it out. Make of that what you like. Big Robbo fan but I think he maybe elsewhere.
  8. Just to clarify the event being held on the 17th is a review of the 2014 season and not a race night. We will be showing several races from the season( courtesy of GRT Media) and George has agreed to come and relay information from the conference. Hopefully see as many Diamonds fans as possible.
  9. Ok last go from me. Robson Kerr R Worrall R Lambert ???? Around 5/5.5? Rose Nielsen/Greaves
  10. Kerr is a must and I would like to think that Rose done enough to warrant a return. Like Arson not too bothered about the rest. I think if Lambert was allowed to come we might have had the season Edinburgh have had although we will never know. Interesting Winter ahead and I think some big decisions have to be made.
  11. Well having an out and out Number one in Danny King didn't work either
  12. How about L Bjerre R Bach L Kerr R Wells D Sneddon L Rose S Nielsen
  13. Really? I think it's a bit steep if I'm honest. It would cost my family and I over £100 in entrance fees alone. That's before petrol. I know double headers are a nightmare to most promotions but like I say too steep for us.
  14. Bach Robson Kerr Worrall Rose Nielsen Would leve about 5.50 for the final rider. That of course is if things stay the same as this season.
  15. Yep he's certainly wound me and the Mrs up as well. Had the cheek to go to security a couple of weeks ago saying the wife had been looking at him all night, which was really good seeing as she was on the centre green for the first 2 heats with the mascot, and for the next few heats was helping with people up in the bar.
  16. To be honest I think Ludde team rides as much as Danny does
  17. And yet standing beside you all of the meeting you never once said anything about the track. In fact you were heard by several people saying that there have been some really good races tonight. Very disappointing to see you jump on the bandwagon.
  18. Decent enough line up with like most teams a lot depending on reserves. Huge fan of Wilko and Kozza will score well most places.
  19. Speedway is of course a matter of opinion and your never gonna please everybody.I think the team put together is a decent team.Anton Rosen is far better than a 7 point rider and will finish closer to 9.Lewis Kerr will also prove to be a snip on 6 and a bit .Ludvig in the past has started the season well and ended it well, what we need is consistancy. Robbo isnt the rider of old but again on his average it was an easy decision. Christian before his season was ended was going well everywhere so again its thumbs up from me.That leaves the 2 reserves and once Steve Worrall went elsewhere i was pleased we retained Chris. Finally the promotion continued to look at British riders for the final place and they must be applauded for this.Im sure once Lewis Rose gets to grips with our track he also will do ok. Lets hope for an injury free 2014 and more silverware won.
  20. Im not too sure either way regarding Kenni Larsen. I think a lot depends on if he gets a ride in Poland. You also have to factor in the fact that he may not get a team place in the Elite league. A long shot it may be but not out of the question.
  21. Does anyone know if any team can include Robert Lambert in their declared starting line up in a shared reserve position or will everyone just have to wait until his birthday in April? I think there will be an awful lot of interest in him. I also think IMO Kenni Larsen would get pretty close to a 10+ average. Difficult to judge how well a rider will do coming back from injury. As for Tully its a no from me.
  22. K Larsen S Robson A Rosen L Kerr S Worrall R Lambert C Schramm
  23. I would not object in replacing Lindgren with Henry or perhaps Howe.
