The big problem that you may find with Saturday nights will be trying to attract riders, Eastbourne seem to have a similar problem. With Saturday GP nights and Poland on a Sunday.
-
It is a massive bold move, there is no reason why they cannot use Saturday nights, but it would be advisable. I can see all the logistic reasons why they what to make the move, but I cannot help feel that it could all end in tears, I hope not and I wish them all the luck in the world.

You could struggle to hold onto Sarj as he is a Coventry asset he could ride for for there National League team.
-
Not too bad for me. one right and one nearly right.

Don't think so Ricky Wells average; 6.47 Rusty Harrison; 7.04.
-
Workington have always built attractive looking sides, and its a bit of a mystery to me why they have not won many honours over the years maybe next year could be the year of The Comet.
-
Possibly the reason for thinking that Ashley might be hankering for a move to Sheffield is the fact that his main sponsors are Sheffield based and also team sponsors at Sheffield, so maybe that is where people might be getting the idea from. But if the lad did become available then I am sure or would hope that Sheffield might show an interest in the lad, he is still very popular with the Sheffield crowd and he is a good rider. But I would be very surprised if Scunny were to release him, and I am not holding out on any hopes of seeing Ashley in Sheffield colours next season.
-
That would be a wicked top 5, but it would leave you very vulnerable at the bottom end, and even including Ashley Morris on 3 point average it leaves you with very few decent options out there, and any that last slot would be rider that you would have to gamble on.
-
Would leave you with 3.82, and not may options. Klaus Jakobsen.

You mean you don't actiually know who it is.

wauting????

Don't they always.

Not going to deny that I think that the Ricky Ashworth situation could and should have been dealt with better, but to suggest that the team is built on the cheap after two signings is daft.
-
I don't know but he did this to Josh Auty.

Remember 1980 the team that Ray Glover put together was not that great to watch, the only consolation is he brought Shawn Moran to the club.

Only addressing part of the problem, obviously there are other issues. But interested in what you have to say any suggestions? -

Interesting you say that, why do you say that it less attractive, than what we already have? -

That is the big problem with anything like this you are going to find a team or teams that it will never suit, Somerset would fall into that category because they don't have another local team in the league. To be honest I am just putting the thought out there, to see what people think. -

Okay you could break the different leagues down even further to 4 leagues of 3 teams so you could have. Scotland/ Border Conference Glasgow Edinburgh Berwick Northern Workingrton Newcastle Redcar Midland Scunthorpe Sheffield Leicester Southern Ipswich Rye House Somerset Each team races their fellow Conference teams twice at home the others once at home. The top teams from each Conference qualify for Championship Play Off Finals Then all the 2nd place teams race against each other. And all the 3rd place teams race each other. Its a very much how they do things in the States with their leagues maybe it could work for speedway. Obviously there would be no need for the Premier Trophy if you adopt this method. -
Been a long time sorting out his visa problems.

The only way I see this happening is if there is an even number of teams, and that would mean Plymouth dropping out of the league and Leicester staying in the Premier League. You could I suppose have a Northern Conference and Southern Conference, where you ride against your Conference teams twice and the other Conference teams once,, and the two top teams from each Conference go to the Play Off Semi Finals. Northern Conference Glasgow Edinburgh Berwick Workington Newcastle Redcar Southern Conference Scunthorpe Sheffield Leicester Ipswich Rye House Somerset The big problem is that there is more teams North of the Midlands and running a team in the Southern section would incur more running costs that those in the Northern section. . -
P,lus you would imagine that he would put something on that starting average.

Certainly looks like with the announcement coming out of Ipswich today that Scunthorpe look favourites to give Stefan a team place next season.
