Or could he be prepared to wait further into the season until a rider get injured, or is sacked.
-
That is what he has to consider, and it could be the reason why the Promotion have waited to offer him terms, safe in the knowledge that the only club that can fit him into their team. A lot could hinge on Wolves who have him lined up to ride as a doubling up rider would they be prepared to use him on a full time basis.
-
I guess you are basing that on his early season form, towards the end of the season Ricky Wells form really picked up and was riding far better.
-
I am not sure that I would want North. I maybe would go with Poole, but we would need a top heatleader to go with him.
-
This is a real worry regarding Ricky Wells failing to agree terms with the club. We could look elsewhere and there is riders available but I cannot see other riders of the same standard but will they come for the same amount of money. The Promotion obviously have a budget and that is fair enough, but why approach a rider who has said that he lost money last season and ask him to sign for less money it just does not make sense. Hopefully Ricky and the Promotion can meet each other halfway, but it looks like this could be unlikely as Ricky states that he will only sign for the same money as last season. Where do we go if Ricky Wells does not sign who knows, I just don't see any of the riders who are left out there riding for the money that appears to be on offer at Sheffield.
-
They have not signed a 1 to 7 yet, must admit that I am starting to get a bit twitchy regarding the team. I was under the impression that they were sticking with the traditional Thursday night. And now looks as though I have reason to be Ricky Wells is a rider that I wanted back at Sheffield I just hope that they can now do a deal. http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/speedway/i-m-not-greedy-says-track-ace-1-5266952

Totally correct its Sheffield or nothing. Ricky Wells could opted to ride sorely in the Elite League. Richard Hall could opted to ride Grass and Long track. But it is my guess both will back at Sheffield, just wondering why it is taking the Promotion so long to announce the signings. .
-
Looks like you have a fan there Jenga.. Not been there I would not know, but the impression I got was that they were talking to both riders about a return. Whether or not they have reached an agreement remains to be seen.

Wonder if they use the tag system in Oz.

Not been a legal eagle or having much knowledge about employment laws in this country I would not know that information. I am merely taking my information from the local press releases, where Damien has said that he did not plan to go back home for the winter and had found work as a mechanic in Wakefield. I just assumed that work permits/ visa's were the same for any kind of employment.
-
I very much doubt it.
-
Koppe is already here, he has stayed in the country and found employment as a car mechanic during the winter, so he is sorted.

There is a Country and Western song in there somewhere.

I always thought that forums were about opinions and people voicing them.

So the bus was missing this morning making me late for work, but I am not allowed to complain because I have drove a bus. I went to the Sandwich shop for my large bacon and sausage sandwich, to find that they have put the price up, but I am not allowed to complain as I have never work in a Sandwich shop. I had to settle for a medium bacon and sausage because that is all I can afford due to not have a pay rise for three years due to government cut, but I not allowed to complain as I never been a politician. Stood out in the rain waiting for the bus got soaking wet in the rain, again cannot complain as I never been a weatherman.

Schramm was very welll thought of by the Sheffield crowd last season, the big problem was his equipment which let him down on too many occasions last season, so much so it got to the point where he had to borrow equipment from Chris Mills..
-
Not the only Aussie to be left out or sweating on a team place Justin Sedgmen is another who could well miss out.
-
Potentially a good signing, and could rediscover his form up in Scotland. Could be younger brother Charles Wright to fill the last spot, would give plenty of points left over to make changes if they need to.

I don't think that Dave Hoggart is blackmailing the fans either, the crowds having been going down slowly for quite few seasons now even in 2011 when we had a good competitive team, but last season it was so alarming that really did fear this coming season they would pull the plug. Looking at this season Oilyrag, is right its not people like him or myself that the Promotion has to convince the likes of me, him, Squall or even Third Man who attended most or nearly all of the meetings last season it those who did not go or were very occasional followers. They started pretty well with the team building this season bringing back. The rider that most Sheffield fans wanted back from last season Joe Haines (The rider that Oilyrag said this time last year was on the slide). Then there was Damien Koppe a decent signing, seen and read alot about him on the internet seems like a solid rider. Then the Ace in the Pack Simon Stead, local lad and very popular with the Sheffield crowd and will prove an excellent Leader of the Team. The problem then is what we have signed since; Jake Knight, which okay we could have still covered his loss of points as we still had a fair few points to cover on other riders. Then Facu Albin, seen a bit of him, has an exciting racing style and I think the crowd will take to him like they did with Kyle Legault, but very inexperienced. The next two are hotly tipped to be Ricky Wells and Richard Hall, Ricky I think will be a good signing again I think that he has unfinished business, and he was a different rider at the end of the season. Richard Hall well he rides Sheffield well. The big problem with this team is that the Promotion has taken what I think is a massive, massive gamble They have or rumoured to be signing three of the poorest Sheffield team in recent year. And three rider on assessed averages, The big problem is that will fans be willing to pay to see a team that consists of three of the riders in what was the poorest team in the clubs recent history (Should have no more than two in my opinion). And three riders on assessed average that fans have no or limited knowledge or form guide to go on. Its a massive massive gamble that the Promotion are taking and I just pray that they pull it off. I do think that the team is better than last seasons team, and I think it will be a team that will be entertaining, but will it be enough to satisfy the stay away fans. I hope it does, but at the moment I have my doubts. . ,

For me has to be Somerset that stands out as potentially the team to beat. But things can change and a team that is unfancied can make a change in the team. But for me I think everyone will be chasing Somerset if they stay injury free.

Proctor did say not long after the end of the season that he would like to take up a doubling up role in this country as he planned to give both Poland and Sweden a miss.

And the moon is made of cream cheese. And we all lived happily ever after.
-
Saw Joe Jacobs last season at Sheffield and I was very impressed, certainly looked ready to make the next step up and I think he will do well.

Bring in Jack Lee to Team Manage, and let Dave Hoggart do the centre green presentation , which he does so well.
