Don't think it helps.

Depends what you mean by the end of the week, for the end of the week means Saturday.

The one thing I hope that the Team Management get the riding order right home and away. I think at home at least we have to go with Joe Haines partnering Simon Stead at 1 and 2. Why Joe at number 2? Think of the riders that have been best riders at number 2 in recent years, Skidmore and Wilson, the one thing that Joe has in common with those riders is an ability to gate very well. That would give Joe gates 1 or 2 which especially in the earlier heats when the track has had chance to settle means that gating is important. I also think that at home we need to have Richard Hall riding at number 5, and then move him to 3 or 4 for away matches. The one thing that they must do next season is play to the riders strength and be prepared to rotate rider riding positions.

Thought that myself when I checked it out,.Nedermark would give you a solid top 5. Mind you how long would Charlie last before he hurt himself.
-
Lodge an appeal. They could go with Nedermark and Charles Wright too replace the two Aussie's.
-
This work permits issue seems to be a real nightmare, and I just wonder why the applications of these two riders has been turned down. Sheffield have gone down the same avenue as Glasgow and signed two foreign 5 point assessed riders and a 3 point British rider, wonder if we are going to be faced with the same problem.
-
Guessing you have accepted each other onto your friends list on Facebook.
-
Do any of us really know what riders are offered, there are not many of us really. I do find it strange that Nedermark was given the rider of the season award for Newcastle in Speedway Star for last season but then is not offered a team place for the following season, does seem very strange.
-
Point taken mate, I don't think that we will ever get to the bottom of what Sheffield have offered Ricky Wells, I suppose it all boils down to who you believe the rider or the Promotion. Could be that he is taking it to the limit to try and get more money out of the club, my guess is that he will put pen to paper by the end of the week because it will implications for him riding for Wolves. Deep down I thinm both Sheffield and Ricky Wells need each other, and think they will come together by end of the week.
-
I very much doubt that Albin will be on more money that Ricky Wells. As far as I am aware Facu Albin will be based around the Berwick staying with a family up there who I beleive were originally going to look after him when he was earmarked for a place in the Berwick team. I suppose the difference between Facu and Ricky is they are at differing stages of their career and their demands will be different.

I would go come rain or shine, and even if they put out 7 Klaus Jakobsen's I love my speedway team and my speedway, but they don't have to convince me to come to meetings but I do worry that Sheffield speedway public will look a the team and maybe stay away. I just hope that we are not putting too much pressure on too many young lads, but I am starting to get really impatient for the season to get started and see what the team can do. As for the last rider I agree with Squall the two riders banging on the door are Poole and Nedermark, both are decent riders not too sure whether they are heatleader quality but could have the potential to make the break through. Of the 3 riders I would like to see the following take the last spot in this order. 1st Ricky Wells 2nd Taylor Poole 3rd Claes Nedermark Squall loving everything Scandinavian, would probably go for Nedermark, but I would rather go with Wells as I think that there is unfinished business with him and I think he could establish himself as a genuine heatleader.
-
Depends on whether or not they planned to use Ricky. I just wonder how it would effect their plans at Wolves if Ricky Wells was to be used on a full time basis. Don't think Wolves really think that he is average, they have been talking about buying him from Coventry.
-
The report in the local paper has not said when Ricky Wells has too make his mind up. There are implication for Wolves if Wells does not sign for Sheffield, so maybe Wolves may be tempted to give Wells an incentive to sign for Sheffield say some sort of cash incentive. My view is that Wells will be back at Sheffield by the couple of days, my guess Thursday there will be an announcement Wells or no Wells.
-
Well if he is the know we should be expecting Ricky Wells to sign for Sheffield. After all he did say if Ricky did not sign then the Chris Schramm would be the rider that would be signed.
-
The one thing you could never fault Schrammy was effort, he is the type of rider who can look you in face and tell you honestly that he has done the best he can. But the machinery let him down badly last season, and I would say some investment is not enough he would need a massive investment.
-
We have had Wolverhampton before maybe them, still think Belle Vue would be a better draw and liable to bring a few fans with them.
-
I think Belle Vue will make good team to race for the first meeting. I think with them been an Elite League team people won't take a defeat too seriously.
-
I think that they have done an incredible job, but like you say their PR at times does let them down. I just hope that they have not done things on a promise that has failed to materialize.
-
Can they really afford to run without a sponsor though, having slashed admission prices they are going to have to get more people through the gates to get that money back, without a sponsor it will be doubly more difficult.
-
I think he is I think he is unlikely to ride in this country this season.
-
Possible, but I just don't see him fitting into the Sheffield budget requirements and I think without an Elite place he will prove to be too expensive for Sheffield.
-
Ben Wilson is a viable option. The only worry for me is that he has been out a year and wonder if he still has it in him. But he would come in with an average of 6.10, which is 1.89 under the limit, and if the lads who are assessed averages struggle we could look at really bringing some riders to replace them with lots of points to play around with. That is not the Sheffield way of doing things, but I think that they might have to change their mindset and look at the way clubs like Edinburgh have been successful in the past doing this sort of thing in the past.

Bonuses???
-
My guess is that Wells will sign sometime next week.

Thanks for that, thought I had read it somewhere.
