proctor poole sissis Seems to be where we are going next season
-
One in every village I am afraid. Most Sheffield know and except that Richie is going to Glasgow, and with Simon Stead staying at the club is not on the right average whether he wanted to come or were desperate to come. But I am sure that he will be raging success for our Scottish cousins.

ill be very interesting to see who the 7th rider is, I think it could be Crazy Vissing.
-
Definitely a Red Herring. Also hearing that there should be an announcement on signing number 4 this week.
-
Got agree about Risager, and very much doubt that he has been enquired about signing for Sheffield.
-
Fair enough.
-
I think most would agree with the those sentiments. What I cannot understand is why Scunthorpe are not using Palm Toft, on that average They have effectively used an inexperienced foreign teenager instead on a higher assessed average than that of Pal Toft, not very often that Rob Godfrey gets things wrong with his team building, but in this case I think he has dropped the proverbial one. The Workington Promotion must have been wetting themselves when they found out Palm Toft was available what a gift from Mr Godfrey.

I reckon that the Edinburgh team could well be; Cook Masters Sedgman Wethers Tabaka Fox Clegg
-
Yeah full set of team kevlars for the team.
-
My guess is that it could be Ricky Wells.

Scunny programme board back on the Christmas present list.

Okay if you want to be pedantic, A smaller budget.

Has a look of a team done a budget. You are always taking a gamble taking on more than one rider who is on an assessed average. David Howe, is a good solid steady Premier League rider. Josh Auty; Exciting to watch, and pure entertainment value, but his gating is his nemesis, and that lets him down and stunts his progress. Alex Davies; Could be a good signing, looked to have the makings of a decent rider at Somerset in 2013, but might take his time to find his feet. Ryan Douglas; Another very exciting entertaining rider, but at times looks out of control and reminds a lot of Nick Morris and could well take the number 1 spot at Scunthorpe. Carl Wilkinson; Sorry cannot see him make much improvement and no where near as good as he was when he left the club. Nike Lunna; What pedigree, someone show me where his results, I think he will struggle and will be nowhere near that assessed average. Ellis Perks; On the surface looks to have the talent, but I think that he could have done with a better reserve partner as I think that he will be under pressure to score points and will need some settling period. This team is nothing like the recent teams that Rob Godfrey has put together over the last couple of seasons , where you have 6 of the 7 scoring solidly, and I definitely think that with the track at Scunthorpe been so good I think this will be real leveller and there will be teams that might come away from the Eddie Wright with a victory who in past would not.

I think you will find that Proctor will be back at Sheffield, both him and the Sheffield Promotion at Sheffield seem to have alot of mutual respect for each other. Taylor Poole has been given assurances by the club that when he is fit and ready he has a place at Sheffield waiting for him, there was some doubt regarding his broken leg as to whether not he would be over in the UK next season, but he appears to be making very good progress with the injury. Maybe we will allow Redcar to use another Sheffield asset in Andre Compton.

Where Next For Oliver Allen?
spin king replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not on that average. -
That puts that one to bed.
-
He is a talent, and I think he is more suit to the big pacy tracks like Sheffield. Looked back at his scores at Sheffield and out of his 8 rides he has won 3, which is not bad going.
-
To be fair to Andrew he had pointed out that he had put together the same side earlier on the thread, to be honest I had not seen that team. Adam Ellis's name has not featured in many peoples teams as I think there is a lot of who probably thought he would be nailed on at Ipswich. The last time he was at Sheffield he looked superb and the track looks to suit his riding style, and I cannot help but think that he would do for us what Steve Worrall did for Edinburgh in 2014.
-
Everybody are putting Josh into teams, but maybe Damien Bates might be tempted to loan him out. He was reluctant to including him in last seasons team, due to the family connections, maybe he is thinking about loaning him.
-
Whole host of options for riders between 4 and 4.90 point averages that would fit nicely into the senior reserve berth, and Ben Wilson has to be considered.
-
Unless there has been a change in the rules I don't see problem. Kerr and Rose rode for Newcastle/ Kings Lynn last season.
-
Don't see a Dane at Sheffield next season. Quick guess at the team Stead Bellego Birks Proctor Wolbert Ellis Bates.
-
What was it I said about David Bellego? Richard Hall with a more exotic name. To be fair along with Ash Birks we have probably sign the best 2nd strings around Owlerton, both should be more than capable of beating any top rider at home. Yes his away form is a bit suss, but around Owlerton he has a home track that he appears to love and races, very well and one thing for sure Thursday are going to be entertaining next season.
