The only way I can see us keeping Jack Holder, Toby and Wuffy, would be to drop both Pickering and Ellis. The team would look something like this. (1) Jack Holder (2) Kyle Howarth (3) Tai Woffinden (4) Lewis Kerr (5) Tobiasz MUSIELAK (6) Ashton Boughen (Based on a 2 point average) (7) Dan Gilkes (Rising Star) Not sure that would make the team any stronger or not.

The only way I could fit in Tai based on a 39 point limit and using British 2.5% reductions . Also would depend upon brining in Dimitri Berge. Team being the following; Tai Woffinden Jack Holder Tobiasz Musielak Kyle Howarth Connor Mountain Dimitri Berge (Reserve) Dan Gilkes (Rising Star) Stronger top 3 Weaker Middle Order Still a a strong reserve. Jack

To be honest after seeing Jack Holder crash out at the weekend I was half expecting this signing. And probably the best signing that we could have made under the circumstances. Tai over Jack Holder makes us weaker, but stronger than using Rider Replacement. Welcome back to Sheffield.

Yes I remember the night well, and Dave could not have been as honest and open as possible, and he went up in my estimation as a speedway Promoter. I would recommend any Stars fans to speak Dave, he as Halifax said approachable, friendly and as honest as he possibly be can be, and would be worthwhile especially by the fact he has posted on here that he wants fans to speak to him. -

Who is still riding who rode in 2004?

Josef Franc Matt Bates Simon Lambert -
Poland will always be the main priority for Pedersen as it is where he earns his big money, and it looks like to me as though his Polish club has put their foot down on riding in UK especially with his crashes and injuries he had endured it recent seasons.. His next priority would Denmark probably down to the fact he has numerous lucrative sponsorship deals. I think that a return to ride in this country was a bit fun and some fairly easy money to earn. Its is difficult to see who they will bring in to replace him, riders of Pedersen's calibre will be hard to find. Chris Holder would have been a possibility, not quite up to Pedersen's standard and I think that they may have burnt bridges as far as Holder is concerned.

He has a brother at Sheffield maybe do it as favour for his brother.
-
I think that you find with KK in the UK he has done well when he has had two solid heatleaders in front of him. If you are asking him to be in your top two he has and will fail.
-
Well he was originally line up to ride for Peterborough, so it must have been in his mind that he wants to ride in the UK. I believe him and Jack live in the same house over here, so he could travel up with Jack.
-
Options for the club whilst Toby is getting fit, Rider Replacement Holder, Ellis, Bellego and Howarth can all take hid rides. Or possibly Signed Chris Holder on a 28 day contract as cover,
-
Only one man for this job. Who do you call? Troy Batchelor.

My Prediction for the season (1) Redcar (2) Glasgow (3) Poole (4) Scunthorpe (5) Plymouth (6) Berwick (7) Oxford (8) Edinburgh (9) Birmingham

Belle Vue v Sheffield 27 March
spin king replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well I did not see that one coming, and we won this one with Adam Ellis having another off night again. Looks like we caught Belle Vue cold and at the right time. So that 2 meetings 1 home and 1 away and maximum league points gained, cannot fault the start to the league campaign. Well Done Tigers. -

Wait till the Ipswich brigade get bored and start coming on here. -

Congratulations to Ipswich on the signing of Emil. Not only is this a feather in the cap for Ipswich, but British Speedway in general. One thing that Ipswich has to be favourites for is the Pairs that they look as though they can retain the title.
-
Personally I love the Play Off's. The atmosphere on the night is electric and exciting, I do think we need to move on from last season's Play Off defeat. Lets move on and concentrate on ths coming season.

Andy Smith?

If Ipswich have managed to get Emil signed then it can not only good for Ipswich but good for the league as well. I would question how race fit Emil is and I think that you have to remember that he has not raced for over 12 months. As for his average I would imagine that he will come on on an 8.00 average, which will leave Ipswich with around 4.27 for the final rider. Who will be that final rider? My guess is Cameron Heeps whose average is 4.18.

Good News, It appears that Josh has been found safe and well.
