  1. Make a comparison of Kenneth Hansen and Steady and Sean Wilson.
  2. Another Jenga pearler. Correct me if I am wrong did not Hansen drop from the number 1 position to reserve.
  3. Get prepared to be called a armchair fan. To be fair this season the Newcastle track seems to have shown a lot of improvement.
  4. I think the top 2 will be Edinburgh and Somerset. With Glasgow, Ipswich, Peterborough and Sheffield fighting it out for a Semi Final place.
  5. Having looked at the footage again and again, I would say that Tungate is guilty of taking Josh off. I think the question is what was the intent. To me it looks as though he has flicked his back wheel to spray Josh with dirt from the track. Unfortunately the move appears to be got wrong and he has caught Josh and to his front wheel. Of course if the referee had have done his job properly either Josh or Tungate should have been excluded from the first running of the heat. What happened afterwards was down to the referee not taking the action initially.
  6. To be fair over the last couple of months Simon Stead has taken him under his wing and the riding and points scored has improved vastly.
  7. Bearing in mind that large amount of those meetings are at Sheffield. I will know what those comments will have been, as I stand with the two texters from Sheffield each week, one of which is my own son. In saying that I am not saying that Josh is perfect and he does make mistakes.
  8. You very well travelled. To see most meetings that Josh Bates has rode. Or perhaps you are being economical with the truth.
  9. You have to wonder with both the Berwick reserves who on paper look one of the strongest in the league not performing. I have been surprised that Bandit fans have not commented on Richard Hall's performances at Sheffield this season. Three meetings rode. Two as Guest rider for other clubs riding the reserve position. One for Berwick. 7 rides 14 points (Guesting for Newcastle) 5 rides 1 point (riding for Berwick) 6 rides 6 points and 2 bonus points (Guesting for Glasgow)
  10. No I think that the present top 6 will be the Play Off teams.
  11. I have watched over and over and looking at the clip I don't anyone can say whether or not what Tungate did was intentional or not. Looking at the first video clip I would say the referee bottled it by bring all 4 back. It was not first bend bunching as they were on the beginning of straight. The clip with Morris and Lunna proves nothing as you cannot see a thing. But if you are going to use the clip of the re-run with Auty/ Tungate then I would say it proves nothing due to distance away from the incident.
  12. Not quite sure what you mean by Morris was kicking out at Lunna as they coming to the line. Do you mean the start line or the finishing line. Either way is possible to nearly kick somone in the head whilst sat or riding a speedway bike?
  13. That's two riders, both rode for the club in one season 2013, and both have not return to the club. In the case of Maassen he rode so few meetings he did not qualify as an asset of the club.
  14. Interesting you use Sheffield as a platform for your views. Look at Sheffield teams past and present and you will see that the teams has more than there fair share of British riders.
  15. From where we were stood he looking slightly quicker than Josh Auty, and I think he looked better than I thought he would. But they all looked good or poor going around in practice it is difficult to pick out whether or not that the lad will be any good.
  16. Congratulations to Glasgow and all the best for the final. Richard Lawson may not be classed as a dirty rider, but move he made on Garrity was definitely suss, and after the league match at Glasgow where he took Jason out no he is not that popular and I think if it was the other way around we would be hearing a lot more about it. In saying that I think the best team over two legs won, and tonight we did not ride as well as we could do and Glasgow did a number on us. Oh yes.
  17. To put the record straight, I don't have anything against Darcy Ward. He is a very talented naturally gifted rider, he has made some poor career decisions and up to now he has abused his talent. And yes he is box office. What I don't need is to hear that, for what seemed every ten minutes. Darcy is back, after umpteen months serving a ban. Darcy is such a talent. Darcy can team ride. Darcy can gate. Or What's it like not having Darcy in your team (Poole riders) Or What's it like having having Darcy in your team (Swindon riders) Was there a competition to see how many times one presenter could utter Darcy Ward. Last night was overkill on magnanimous scale.
  18. Well I did not see that one coming. Well Done the Tigers, that Play Off place looks to be on.
  19. Well Done the Scottish Tigers, after what has happened to the club over the last couple of days I honestly thought they might just be there for the taking today. As for the Comets has to be an opportunity missed, and once again they appear to be the perennial underachievers, you have to feel for the Promotion they constantly put some very attractive and promising team, that always seems to fall short.
  20. Could be a very interesting meeting as the with the wonderful world of British speedway we are possibly stronger with the enforced changes that we have to make. Maybe we can just maybe come away from Brough Park with a point.
  21. A good Sheffield performance last night, and frankly Berwick were not that good. Strange having a meeting against Berwick with no Shadders and Bandits 4va. The meeting did drag on, but they did have a break for the sun early on in the meeting (seems to be fashionable these days), and I don't think it helped by the fact that both teams were using rider replacement which meant riders taking consecutive rides. But I could not understand the need for an interval towards the very end of the meeting. In saying that the Promotion in general this season made big improvements to the timings and presentations of meeting and last night was more of an exception to the rule. As for the teams performances only once did Sheffield not provide the race winner which showed how dominant we were as a team. Looking at the table after last nights result the Play Offs looking a distinct possibility, but even if we don't make it I think that we have done well considering the injures this season and where we have been with the League positions for the last three seasons. As for Berwick I cannot see them getting into the Play Offs, injury problems and some the Bandit riders who are not quite performing to their true potential.
