  1. I don't think that Tai loyalties lie with Wolves more so with Peter Adams. While ever Peter Adams is part of the Wolves management team Tai will stick with Wolves if rides in this country. If Peter Adams is not then?
  2. I don't think any Sheffield fans expect the team to get very far in the Play Off's, the fact that we have despite the injuries and deportation problems faced with losing riders we have done really well to get there. But then again we thought that Edinburgh would come to Sheffield just over a week ago and turn us over big style, how wrong were we on that one. The feel good factor is definitely shining at the moment where we bucking the trend of British speedway with crowds levels rising and a set of riders who are not only winning but producing some exciting racing. And just to show how crowds levels are up, the carvery in the restaurant ran out of meat, for the Edinburgh match.
  3. 6 Guest appearances over a 12 week period for Sheffield. I suppose its what you define as a shed load.
  4. Should get a true average in time for the Play Offs, at 3.60 at the moment and it will probably stay that way up to the Play Offs. Play Off scores don't count towards a riders averages, so could well have a very attractive average for next season.
  5. I think that over the last couple of months Josh has worked hard on his riding and for me he is far better and controlled rider, he is far from the finished article and he has and still does occasionally make mistakes. The good thing is that Steady has taken him under his wing and like Ty Proctor Josh does listen to the experience riders and take on board their advice, we saw that last season when came from no where to win the British Under 21 title. As for Paco I agree with you as well, but I think a lot depend upon what his finishing average will be as to whether or not we can fit the lad in.
  6. I agree with you, I would also add Arthur Sissis and if he can get the visa Ty Proctor.
  7. You must have been there last night, and most of the Sheffield meetings to know how the track was prepared in previous meetings.
  8. So that is why the crowds are up at Sheffield. We have got them coming down from Berwick every week. That is a wonderful commitment from someone who supports another team.
  9. Craig Cook clocked 59.9 tonight, not quite the track record which is still held by Ricky Ashworth at 59.1.
  10. Okay, well I was stood with the texter and if you read it does not say there was contact, what it actually means is Branford left a gap and panicked and wobbled, there was no contact.
  11. You were there tonight then, next time you are Owlerton come over and introduce yourself.
  12. Klindt has a higher average than Bellego so would imagine that he would be the one to go.
  13. Would certainly welcome Robert Lambert to Sheffield even more so than Ben Barker.
  14. I said another thread that I felt that Edinburgh and Somerset for the top 2, with Glasgow, Peterborough, Sheffield and Ipswich making up the other 4 spots. Still not changed my opinion apart from I would say it will be Glasgow finishing in the top two instead of Somerset. And it also looks as though Edinburgh have peaked just the right time, with Masters due to return soon I just don't see anyone beating them at this moment.
  15. Looking increasingly as though it is season over for Arthur, I really think we need to look for a replacement. From our own asset base we have; Facu Albin (not sure whether or not he is in the country still) Jake Knight Benji Compton. Others who are not assets that we might consider. Liam Carr Danny Spiller Zach Wotshisname (from Birmingham) Or maybe even do a double change. drop the not so impressive Klindt. And bring in Adam Ellis and Anders Thomsen (although not so sure that the figures work out) Regardless the \Promotion have a massive decision to make and I do envy them.
  16. Would not disagree with that statement, and if you are going to be controversial in what you say expect that you may get something controversial said in response.
  17. Total over reaction to Cook's tweets. When are the people of Berwick going to learn that if you bite, the man will fish even more. Or Makovsky in 2009 bouncing of the fence all over the track pulling lockers in front of Chris Mills. Not content he then wiped out his team mate Franchetti in the next race.
  18. Cookie is a wind up merchant, but at least he gets people talking, and deep down its just a bit of fun and the Berwick fans seem to bite more than others. And deep down every Premier league would welcome him with open arms if he said that he wanted ride for their club. As for the meeting Best Wishes to all the injured riders firstly. On my own team's front I would have rather taken no points a defeat and a fit 6 riders coming back to Sheffield, we are edging closer and closer to the Play Offs, but as things stand at the moment we rapidly running out of riders, and with the Monarch's due on Thursday we could well do without a patched up team. Little bit concern with Bellego and Klindt, Bellego really needs to pick up his game away from Sheffield, has and can be a match winner around Sheffield but his away performances have been poor and this season his away average is below both Josh Bates and Arthur Sissis. I suppose a win is a win, but it feels very hollow to be honest.
  19. Brady has loads of Guest booking for Sheffield this season and has done okay for so not so sure whether it is his form that needs questioning.
  20. Not the best meeting I have ever seen at Somerset. Scarily Edinburgh looked so good and seem to peaking at the right time. I just wonder how much the defeat to Plymouth has taken out of the Rebels confidence wise, they look a pale shadow of the team that beat us at Sheffield early this season. And how bad was Worrall.
  21. The league meeting this season at Sheffield typifies Richard Lawson usual performance around Sheffield. 3, 3, 0, 1, 0.
