  1. Two wrongs don't make a right. Yes Mr Havelock is out of order with his excessive transfer fee, if what has been read is lead to believe. But if Kus did what he did is wrong as well telling his club that he would be not doing Britain this year. The whole thing is getting very messy and needs sorting out one way or another.
  2. Two changes means releasing either Lambert or Palm Toft by reckoning. Does anyone know whether or not Porsing is riding in Poland next season?
  3. The problem that you have is that your options appear to be very limited, whether that be one or two rider changes.
  4. Correct discounting the British reserve at Edinburgh, only four place remaining. Newcastle and Redcar appear to be in a tug of war over Kus. Peterborough appear to waiting on Premier League fixtures and the Polish fixtures. Rye House after a middle order rider.
  5. Ruml on a 5 point average might not be a bad call. I remember him riding in the WTC and he did not disgrace himself.
  6. The Polish play off's are around the same times that the Premier League play off's, what going to do if Bjerre is call into his Polish team at the same time as your play off match. You could be going into a play off match with a National League guest rider riding at number 1 for you.
  7. And if his Polish team reaches the Play Off's what are going to do then?
  8. I think that they have to take out either a British license or an ACU license to ride in the Premier League, neither are valid to ride in Poland. A few years ago Tomasz Piszcz was banned from riding for Birmingham for failing to take an ACU license and refused to give up his Polish license. That is why you don't or rarely see Polish riders riding in the Premier League other than those who are finding it hard to get club in their home country.
  9. And Kosciuch would have to do the same and would not be allowed to ride Poland if he did. No he did not.
  10. As far as I am aware he can ride in the Premier League, but to do so he would need to change his riding license but to change the license would mean that he would not be able to riding Poland. To say Poles cannot ride in the Premier League is untrue otherwise how did Konopka get ride in the Premier League for the last two seasons. I would be surprised if Kosciuch would be prepared to forgo racing in his home country for a season in the Premier League.
  11. Would they be allowed to use a Guest if he absent due to Polish commitments. Need SCB to clarify the situation.
  12. The big problem for the Panthers getting Bjerre in is the Polish fixtures, maybe that could far too much of a gamble. Norbert Kosciuch, is a massive long shot due to his racing license if he rides Premier League then he cannot ride in the Polish league. Karlson is probably the one that I think is most realistic and at this level would be a quality signing and would be good number 1 rider at this level.
  13. If true then he won't be your Commercial Manager for long, there will be other clubs head hunting him for their club.
  14. Aussie could be Tyson Snow, think he might have British parent or Grandparent. American could be Broc Nicol.
  15. And where is that 8 point rider going to come from?
  16. I don't think Smith will have the necessary visa to get over to ride in the UK. Ash Birks is taking a year out to get over his injuries, and is concentrating on helping the Promotion with Promoting the club.
  17. He owns the contract could have offered Poole them the first option to buy the contract of him.
  18. So if Bjerre was to sign for Peterborough, an Elite League club. The Elite League club would have first choice on his services.
  19. Sorry not to see Taylor coming back, but if his heart is not in it then he has made the right decision all round not to make the trip over. As for any replacements its difficult to see where they are coming from and maybe Scunny may need to replace Taylor and another rider as well.
  20. Final word on Workington and Hansen as this is a Peterborough thread. Amazed that Hansen was classed as a success, the guy did drop from been the Workington number 1 to reserve was that down to been inconsistent or poor. Going on his performance at Sheffield where the track blends in well with riding the boards he was frankly very poor 7 from 6 rides was not raging success frankly. Hansen played his part in the fact that Workington not making the Play Off's as did the vast majority of the team with the exception of Ricky Wells.
  21. Rubbish. The only team not to drop any points at home were Workington, they never gain a point away from home which was their demise last season, and don't think that can be attributed to one rider alone.
