  1. Anders Thomsen would be a very astute signing, but has he said he want to do the UK. Mikkel Bech is a more likely signing.
  2. But for the time being your not, why not concentrate on the league that you will be competing in.
  3. Is it not time that someone turned the lights out down in Poole.
  4. Team so far and their averages Nicki Pedersen 8.61 Jack Holder 7.49 Josh Grajczonek 7.29 Kyle Howarth 5.72 (2.5% British Reduction) 5.58 Todd Kurtz 4.00 Ashley Morris 3.32 (2.5% British Reduction) 3.24 Total 36.21 Total points left 6.29
  5. Sheffield now have 6 riders chosen, and the points used so far is 36.21. That leaves us with 6.29 for the last rider. The Sheffield promotion have in the past got a close to the limit as possible, and I think that they will do so this time . So looking at the riders from last season who averaged between 6.00 and 6.29 points I can only find Bomber or Musielak. Bomber could be a possibility, although I have never been totally convinced of him around Sheffield, and Musielak. it would appear could be giving UK a miss. Other possibilities Mikkel Beck who has stated that he wants to ride in the UK and would come in at 6.23, another Dane and possible long shot Anders Thomsen who I believe would come in on converted average of around about 6. Very intriguing and will be interesting to see who the final rider will be, but the Promotion have been true to their word and they are proving that they are not coming to make up the numbers.
  6. Sometime ago I went through the same argument with Sidney regarding Kyle Howarth and Josh Auty. I produced lots of facts and figures why I thought Kyle had done better with his career than Josh. The only thing that he could come back on was one off British Finals. After so long I realised that did matter what I said or what evidence I produced he was having none of it. Eventually I decided like I always do in these situations to leave at that. Maybe he should ask Rosco to sign him for Swindon, which would make Sidney's day.
  7. Not quite sure how the Promotion are going with the rest of the team. I did think that they were going with Josh Bates and and 4 point plus rider. But Josh has said in the Speedway Star that has no plans to ride in the Premiership this season. I quite like the idea of bringing in Mikel Bech, would give us a strong top five but a little vulnerable at reserve as it would mean bringing in a sub 4 pointer. Another possible option would be Scott Nicholls if he is not going to Wolves and a 4 pointer. The Promotion in the past have gone as close to limit points allowed and maybe they are going to this now. Either way it is fascinating to see which way they go this time.
  8. On an average of 5.80, would all leave us with 7.73 for the last two riders.
  9. Already happened race together in Sweden.
  10. Disagree with the Nicki/Jack announcement. The announcement of a big number 1 shows the clubs intent. Like Swindon who announced Doyle as their first signing.
  11. Pedersen Grajczonek Kildemand Howarth Bellego Nicol Kurtz (Todd)
  12. We have had the number 1 We have had the second string It will be a reserve next. Todd Kurtz is my guess.
  13. Lets not forget a nice little earner for the Wolves, who will get a loan fee for Nicki.
  14. Could do, but would come in on an average of 5.07, which to me would represent a massive gamble.
  15. Would make sense by the fact that both Todd and Broc are both assets of the club and Todd rides Sheffield so well. So with that in mind maybe two different permutations to have a look at, one goes with the Nicki Pedersen rumour, the other does not. (1) Nicki Pederesen 8.61 (2) Nick Morris 5.38 (3) Josh Gajczonek 7.29 (4) Brady Kurtz 7.54 (5) Richard Lawson/Kyle Howarth 5.64/ 5.58 (6) Broc Nicol 4.00 (7) Todd Kurtz 4.00 or (1) Brady Kurtz 7.54 (2) Kyle Howarth 5.58 (3) Josh Gajczonek 7.29 (4) Charles Wright 6.52 (5) Jack Holder 7.49 (6) Broc Nicol 4.00 (7) Todd Kurtz 4.00
  16. To be fair I would be very surprised if it is true, I got the impression that and still think it he will be back at Ipswich. But you never know and if it is true then it would be a very nice surprise.
  17. (1) Matej Zager 7.48 (2) Erik Riss 6.61 (3) Ryan Douglas 4.66 (4) Troy Batchelor 8.82 (5) Charles Wright 6.52 (6) Ricky Wells 4.00 (7) Tomas H Jonnsson 4.18
