  1. Be my guest mate if that is what you want to do.
  2. Must admit it has been very dead on the forum for the last 4- 5 days, but starting to get a bit more interesting today.
  3. No chance mate, I don't have enough hours in the day to catch up with SCB.
  4. Its when I can get to the computer in our house, and the fact that I am not at work with the Xmas break. Will be giving you all a break from me as I am back at work tomorrow.
  5. I don't know there are some very good wind up merchant around the speedway scene at the moment. Perhaps Nicki needs to get a bigger fan to cool him down.
  6. And he left a bemused Ole Olsen flabbergasted.
  7. Lets be fair though they did not half make a song and dance with there objections .
  8. That why I said I wonder whether some riders might try and wind him up into doing something stupid.
  9. Both Colin and Peter rode in the old National League in the 70's, I remember them in 1977, I think Peter rode for the all conquering Eastbourne team, and Colin rode for Crayford and also doubled up with Poole. As far as I know Peter retired in 77, but was going originally going to ride for Stoke, but it never came off. Colin Goody was in good form that he went full time with Poole, but in the 78 season I think that he broke his neck, which ended his career, both were well into the forties when they retired which was really unheard of then. I am sure there is somebody out there who will tell me that I have got it wrong, or correct me on something that I have got wrong.
  10. Wonder if are going to see some riders try and wind Nicki up.
  11. How tall was he, looking at photo's he looks about 10 foot tall.
  12. I seem to remember it being Michael Lee, or I could be mistaken, I also think that Ivan Mauger also competed.
  13. Did Martin Goodwin ever rider for Crayford.
  14. Dave Kennett I assume looks after his racing son Eddie.

Not even Berwick are that desperate.
  16. I don't know, there is no record of him in my book of Sheffield legends, and to be quite frank I have never ever heard of him before, but then again I am only 42 and the 1940's were before my time.
  17. Tommy was Guy Allots older brother. Guy Allott went on to be a very good engine tuner, and tuned Ivan Mauger's bikes. Nicky Allott is Guy's son, he rode for Sheffield, Scunthorpe and Hull. Adam is Nicky's son, who has recently forced to retire. Cannot help with Geoff never of heard him, that is a new one, and unfortunaley Tommy is no longer with us.
