I forgot about that one, I think was Dougie Wyer who recommended him to the Sheffield promotion, heartbreaking when you think about it, as we would have had Shawn Moran and Juicey Brucey in the same team for 2 seasons.

That race should never have been allow to take place, and was nothing to do with the Sheffield promotion. It was the World Team cup, and the trak was unridable, Loram collided with the starting gate.

71 I would be 7 at the time, so my recollection is not very clear about Charles, I always thought that it was earlier than that, around 69 when he went to Sheffield.
