  1. I for one hate regional groups, I would get very fed up with the same teams over and over again.
  2. You might be right there Paulco, I have personally kept out of it, to me the Sheffield management had not said anyhting public, and Neil is not one to stand by and let something like non qualification of his team without a massive arguement .
  3. Does anybody have the reason why Redcar have been taken out, I would have thought if the Redcar promotion see it as been unfair then CVS would have said something, by the same token I have not seen anything from Neil Machin on Sheffield not been included in the first place.
  4. I wonder how much that compares to what Eastbourne get for a league meeting.
  5. Perhaps due to the fact that there top two will not be fit for the meeting might be the answer I don't really know. To be honest I am not that bother we are now in the mix for this meeting and with the metingbeen at Peterborough I think that we stand a very good chance of winning the meeting, if we ride to our potential.
  6. Yes Sheffield did run qualifier last season, and yes it was run on a Sunday.
  7. I would be very surprised to find us out of the Pairs, I think come the selection on the 1st June we will find that Sheffield will be there.
  8. Who pulled Redcar was it the Redcar management or the JC, if it is Redcar themselves then how can it be a farce.
  9. Well after all the arguements, on who should be seeded who should not, how well you do at Kings Lynn, who has the better averages, Sheffield are now beenenter into the mix. I have got to say that the best way for us to prove that we should have been there in the first place is to win the event, and to be honest I can see us doing it if we ride to the best of our ability. With a top 4 of Compton, Ashworth, Wilson and Parsons this season I think that we are a match for any of the teams.
  10. I remember seeing in either a book or magazine the state of his leg afterwards, an his leg was a complete mess, you would not thought it would be possible to ride a speedway bike let alone nearly win a World Title with that injury.
  11. Well done to the Bomber, a very good showing in his first Grnd Prix, lets hope that he can keep it up.
  12. Would love to see the present Under 21 Champ retain his title, but I don't think he can, I do feel a surprise is coming on, maybe the Wizard of Oz could eclipse Eddie and Lewis.
  13. Yeah and he only won one World title, it is hard to believe and seems so unfair.
  14. Really looking forward to this issue, DJ was a favourite of mine, love to know what his favourite track and least favourite tracks were. Do we have any information Tony on what else will be in the mag.
  15. If you are looking for a winner then I think that you would be hard pressed to go beyond Rye House.
  16. Read through your post and the only thing that I have siad on the matter is that I did not realise that our averages were that low that we did not qualify. To be honest I had not much looked into matter, but if you are there on merit then good luck too The Brummies. As for Rye House been alot nicer supporters that Sheffield, hmm comeback in a couple of years and tell me that is how you feel.
  17. Talking of old Finnish riders does anybody know what happened to Illa Teromaa.
  18. The guy was awsome, and did most of it passing other riders as he was not that hot a gating.
  19. Truely brave performance from PC, and to think he went so cl;ose to pulling off another victory, sometimes makes me wonder if had have won that night would it have given him the push to even more titles.
  20. Find it hard to believe that Sheffield are not in the 4's, I did not think we were that far behind in the averages.
