  1. looking forward to seeing Belinda Carlisle , that will take back to my younger days, they usually have a special surprise Guest appearance at half time, who can forget year was Chas n Dave, who I thought were both dead, bit of a shock when they came out a sung that classic number Rabbit, nearly choked on Shadders jellied eels.
  2. I seem to remember Simon Cross has already been featured, and I know that Mtch Shirra has been featured.
  3. Well Done Steady and Daniel King, great to see two Brit's through, as Subedei, just for once give credit where it is due a qualification is a qualification.
  4. I am going for the rider that most have written off Scott Nicholls, beating Crump, Adams and Pedersen in the final, and I can see Pedersen stretching his Championship lead further.
  5. I remember him been at Sheffield in the early 80's, but he was way past his best by then, I remember him when he burst on the scene, he was very much the Tomas Gollob of his day.
  6. I know that Phil White is definitely a pilot now not so sure about Ricky Day.
  7. I don't know but sounds like a wonderful character, would love to hear more about him.
  8. To right I think that we have nothing to lose and every thing to gain.
  9. I say stick the lad in, he keeps on proving himself time and time again, and he is the type of rider who learns very very quickly.
  10. I can just about remember Jim, and yes I would put him up there with Shawn Moran.
  11. Not sure whether he has been featured or not.
  12. I remember him, looked most unlikely speedway rider ever, would be nice to see if he still has the specs and teddy boy haircut.
  13. Thrre Grand Prix in and our riders are not good enough according to everybody, there are still 8 more to go we are not even half way through yet, give these riders a chance.
  14. Sub is probably right, the man has so much power over the sport, but it is time for him to go that track was an absolute disgrace, and as race director he should be accountable for me the he should do the honourable thing as resign.
  15. I am glad to hear that Andreas is not as badly injuried as first feared, it looked like a terrible accident, and I am amazed that no bones were broken. Is it now not time for somebody to bring Ole Olsen to book, the track was an absolute disgrace, and if the reporta that they have had months to prepare the track then I am afraid Mr Olsen has a lot to answer for, how we did not see a nore serious accident I will never know.
  16. To be honest, I seem to remember reading in the old speedway yearbook that he retired from speedway to take up a post with the Newcastle Social Services and then returned to Aussie. I could be wrong though.
  17. Did he not retire from speedway to become a Social Worker.
  18. Okay that was Poland where the sport is massive, but the end of the day I think that something needs to be done, people come to see racing, but we are not getting it at the moment, maybe it is the likes of Ole Olsen who should step aside and let someone else in to do the job, can really get excited about a person who talks about a synthetic surface for speedway.
  19. Is it me or does anyone else think that Ole Olsen should step aside and let someone else have a go at running the Grand Prix's, soon or later he is going to get found out .
