Fantastic win for the Potters, on a personal level nice to see Simon Lambert and James Sarjeant having good meetings, James is certainly making up for an indifferent season last season and I would imagine that the win today would have been sweet after what happen to him at Dudley last year. On the downside questions need to be raised about how the Stoke promotion organise themselves, to have a meeting delayed for 2 hours is unacceptable.

I think it might be a bit too early for Ben, I would maybe look at giving Tai another crack at it.
-
Wrong to write Bomber off, I seem to remember him been in a similar position last season and he came back. But if he does not qualify then I think that they will stick give on position to a Brit, not sure whether or not that is such a good idea or fair, but I think that they will do. Might not be a bad thing if we don't have a full time rider in the Grand Prix, might just let the speedway authorities in this country realise how far behind we have gone in International speedway.

Who can forget Belinda Carlisle miming. -
Got to agree with you, after looking as though Buxton were going to get hammered at the start of the meeting, to come back and make a meeting of it, in what was racing in pretty hard conditions. Heat 11 was a fantastic advert for National League speedway, Jason Garrity doing what he does best winding the throttle on,.but you have to admire the intelligent riding from Rob Branford great riding from a lad so young.

The weather at the moment is not looking to great in Sheffield 6.

Thanks for posting the link Mateusz, and I can say that "I was there." -
Know Jason since he was 11 years old, when he used to ride at the Sheffield Training Track and even then you could see the potential in the lad, with a capital P. He has had his problems but he has sorted himself out and he has turned into a really cracking level headed lad. I spoke to him just after Christmas, and Squall has spoken to recently and Jason appears to have a plan and Belle Vue have been looking after him. Like Sqaull says he is more than capable of been a success in the Premier League but any move up would have to be right for Jason, and I don't think it will be a case of the first team that comes in or the highest bidder.

Slightly off topic, but please Vog can you find it in yourself to come to a meeting at Sheffield. Your mate Squall is missing you terribly, I swaer that he was close to tears when he told us how much is was missing you. Thank you please return back to the topic.

You saw the old man walking down the street.

I think that either one of his parents or grandparents were born in this country.

Remember it well, four and half hours back to Sheffield soaking wet on the coach back to Sheffield.

Good win for the Aces, surely a Premier League club is going to pick up young Jason Garrity sooner oe later. Bit worrying about Paul Cooper's score, but I am sure that he will come good, and nice to see Ashley The Works Birks putting in yet another fine performance.
-
I suppose it depends on who is available both Worrall twins are also in the line up, who would have been ideal replacements.
-
I am not so sure, I think that he probably stay as an asset of Scunthorpe club, riders transfering to other clubs is becoming a rarity these days more likely that if the lad does decided that Sheffield is more suited to him then Scunny will take a loan fee for him. That could provide Mr Godfrey with a nice sideline for him as he has an abundance of young talent on his books.

Would be hoping to get over for at least one of the matches, will certainly be supporting the joint team at Sheffield. I would imagine that the there will a decent contigent from Sheffield as Coops is very popular with the Sheffield crowd, and Ash The Works Birks is proving to be very popular as well.
