  1. They really do mean it, that last race was pure hard racing, Batchlor looks like he is revelling in it.
  2. I was just thinking the same, fully expected him to be missing from the meeting.
  3. Afraid I am working late, so cannot make it, but I think you might find out that Kings Lynn's newest fan Squall might come over with his bag of carrots to munch on.
  4. Darcy fully deserves his wildcard, the Poles have enough Grand Prix's to let their riders a go at it. I will be very interest to how Darcy goes I think he could do very well.
  5. Similar at Sheffield with Simon Lambert, Nick Morris true average this season is around the 7 point mark, and Lambert true average is around 6.5 point. If you look at the teams that have been in or around at the top this season, they are the teams that have a rider like these two at reserve. Somerset it was North, and Workington Ingalls. I am convince that one of the main reasons for Glasgow have been head and shoulders above everyone else is not only they have Nick Morris they have Rajakowski as well has been down at reserve for Glasgow until recently.
  6. Still been discussed first I have heard of it.
  7. Good call lets face it we need all the help we can get, and I am sure the Aussies won't mind.
  8. Think the scoreline flattered Gorzow in the end a fine performance by the Bulls.
  9. Heat 12 what a race by the Leszno pairing. Gorzow don't seem to be get to grips with the track.
  10. I think what you have to accept is the Polish speedway fans are a different breed to our Brits, they like to have fun make lots of noise and dance around, but if you interact with them they really enjoy it and you find that you do as well. I found this out when I went to the Leszno Grand Prix this year, with Paulco, Bluejam and Junior we were not long in our seats when we struck up a group of Polish lads, when they found out we were Brits they could not have been more friendlier. By the end of the night they had us up dancing with them (although it has to be said that unlike Bluejam who was showing all great dance moves Paulco was frankly rubbish). By the end of the night one of the lads insisted that Bluejam take his Polish baseball cap as a leaving present, and went for a beer with them. Unfortunately we lost most but we were left with one Jacob who treat me like his long lost brother, but they were great company and like I say if you interact with them they love it.
  11. I think that Cardiff has become the spiritual home of the Grand Prix, and I think that everyone concerned should strive to keep it at Cardiff. But if not Cardiff why not Don Valley Arena at Sheffield, close to Sheffield town centre, close to Robin Hood Airport and Manchester airport, close to the M1 and excellent public transport links. The only downside would be it does not have de tractable roof. But like I say, every effort should be made to keep it at Cardiff.
  12. Fantastic win for the Potters, on a personal level nice to see Simon Lambert and James Sarjeant having good meetings, James is certainly making up for an indifferent season last season and I would imagine that the win today would have been sweet after what happen to him at Dudley last year. On the downside questions need to be raised about how the Stoke promotion organise themselves, to have a meeting delayed for 2 hours is unacceptable.
  13. I think it might be a bit too early for Ben, I would maybe look at giving Tai another crack at it.
  14. Wrong to write Bomber off, I seem to remember him been in a similar position last season and he came back. But if he does not qualify then I think that they will stick give on position to a Brit, not sure whether or not that is such a good idea or fair, but I think that they will do. Might not be a bad thing if we don't have a full time rider in the Grand Prix, might just let the speedway authorities in this country realise how far behind we have gone in International speedway.
  15. Great ride by Holta, another lap and he would have got Pedersen.
  16. Got to agree with you, after looking as though Buxton were going to get hammered at the start of the meeting, to come back and make a meeting of it, in what was racing in pretty hard conditions. Heat 11 was a fantastic advert for National League speedway, Jason Garrity doing what he does best winding the throttle on,.but you have to admire the intelligent riding from Rob Branford great riding from a lad so young.
  17. The weather at the moment is not looking to great in Sheffield 6.
  18. Cannot wait for Zielona and Leszno match, hoping that the Falubaz can beat Leszno.
