There was a lot of rain yesterday & overnight but it is windy which should help to dry the track & supposed to be light rain this afternoon then dry and sunny from 4pm - I'm ever the optimist so will still plan my day to go - but don't have far to travel
Magnus was taken out & pushed into the fence bend 1-2 & was down for quite a while - the report was leg problem - rode in the rerun & his next two races but didnt look right & was replaced for his last ride.
Jari landed heavily on his shoulder - got the bike off the track but seemed in a lot of pain - was given a ride back to the pits on Edinburgh bike but apparently spent the rest of the meeting in the back of the ambulance; ironically this was Jaris best meeting for a while.

I am making the trip for this one & then on to Edinburgh tomorrow
c'mon the Lions
Well done Lions - a good 3 points which puts us back to 2nd place (for a few days) but it should have been 4 points - why was the tactical ride not taken in heat 7 when 10 down with Lasse to ride ?
Leicester have changed their riding order - so it's now :-
Kauko Nieminen
Jari Makinen
Lasse Bjerre
Linus Eklof
Magnus Karlsson
Lewis Blackbird
Jan Graversen
Well I really enjoyed the meeting - great value 17 heats for £5.00. I began to think Eddie Castro was jumping the starts on purpose as he seemed to go better the further back he started
