just got in from cardiff,having read the comments on here i'm looking forward to seeing any mistakes the sky team made,but also to simply see the meeting again. nothing beats being there does it,but you always see something different when you watch it on the tv. as regards the scorecards,i appreciate that the tv team have a lot of things going on in the background and also that sometimes they are relying on the sgp scores or even ermolenkos software,but i couldn't agree more. i can be sat at home with the speedway star scorecard or at the meeting with the programme but come the semis i seem to have a better grasp of who's in,who's out and who has which pick. the amount of times they'll say next up its aj and you know yourself its not! overall though i think sky do a good job,after all if it wasn't on sky would we see any live speedway on tv?

i like holder too,but did you see as soon as he finished the final his hands were up in the air as if complaining to the ref? as he said later the final produced two very tough first bends but nothing more than he expected surely.

my wife said to me after 12 heats that kolodziej was looking good. i agreed then glanced at my programme,saw he had two inside gates in his last two heats and immediately wrote him off. it is bad when one gate is so much worse than the rest.

i know one thing you/we will all agree on the brits aren't good enough ( or at least their gating isn't ).

haha i didn't realise either!! how good could the re-run first bend have been if emil was still in it! helped greg out by freeing his run to the first corner.

for sheer talent gollob is undoubtedly the man but as you say greg will deserve it. there are still two gps to go in poland including gorzow so if push came to shove i would still fancy gollob to come through by the end. fingers crossed for greg though!

agree about the final,would have been good for the ref to have put all four back,but these days it seems compulsory to exclude somebody. from my position it seemed a classic domino effect with nicki nudging holder who in turn pushed emil out.

in answer to the question greg would be an enormously popular champion if he goes all the way this year. to not only compete in every gp to date but also to remain competitive at his age is such a credit to him and what a great guy,typical of him to mention leigh adams in his interview. hope he wins the title.

first ever post on here - enjoyed tonights meeting,sat on 1st bend. not as much passing as i've seen before at cardiff and crumpie didn't seem to have enough pace,but well done to greg on a deserved win. slightly gutted about bjerre though as i had £20 on him at 25 to 1 and if he'd won his semi i think he'd have had first pick!
