Now that just leaves 3 things for you and your tribe to do, Post your apology to me on here Post your apology to the loyal fans of Plymouth Speedway Pack your bags and go as far away from Speedway as you can get YOU ARE NOT WELCOME

Saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Merv Marsh, who, for this season has manned the pit’s entrance at Somerset Speedway all this season. Merv has been involved with Somerset Speedway since day one and has held a number of posts over the years. My condolences go to his widow and his wider family on this very sad occasion Rest in peace Merv

Seems like there was a meeting of all promoters at Rugby today, maybe discussing bowdens fate
-
I will not divulge my source but I think that I will tend to believe my source over you, and if it transpires that he still has it he will not keep it after the end of October because lets face it none of you are fit to run a bath never mind a Speedway Club

Why is it off????

Cheque book speedway is not the answer and leads to clubs going under Look at the late Colin Hill at Exeter who never paid over the odds but all the riders got paid every week in the now famous “True Print” envelopes

Was told tonight that Bowden’s promoters license has been revoked

orderly replied to ciderman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Taken from speedwayGB site teams and groups have been announced for the Premier League play-offs. As follows: GROUP 1 Newcastle Leicester Somerset GROUP 2 Edinburgh Scunthorpe Workington The teams in each group will ride against each other home and away (total 4 meetings). The winners of each group will then contest the Grand Final over two legs. The winner of the Grand Final will be declared 2012 Premier League Champions. -
Taken from the local newspaper about the proposed takeover of Plymouth Speedway "Bowden is describing the move to buy the Devils as 'all talk' and has effectively said he wants to see the colour of the consortium's money." There are a number of riders who would like to see the colour of Bowdens money

I totally accept that but what gets me is the fact that he posts the same old drivel every time about the need to get all three points etc. Etc I truly hope that all people who come to Somerset enjoy the fantastic speedway that we get every week, I used to go to Swindon back in the Martin & David Ashby days when I was stationed at RAF Lyneham I even bought my first bike from Micky Keen when he had a garage at Minety I also remember an american rider called Sumner McKnight must have been about 1972 or 1973 Happy days -
Plymouth V Berwick... 14th September

According to one rider the BSPA are fully aware of the situation and it is reported to them every week therefore if the riders refuse to ride they should NOT be banned for with holding and Bowden should not be granted the use of guests etc. The BSPA should be on the side of the riders in this case and the riders need to elect a spokes person to act for themand the SRA need to get involved to protect the Plymouth riders now and all other riders in the future -

Heard this record too many times please go away and get on somebody else's nerves -
This means that if he is a good businessman then he would pay his bills. As we all know he will not pay his way therefore he must be a rubbish businessman Speedway is also a business for the riders and if there not paid how are they supposed to maintain their equipment and live
-
Correct and Glanz should not be classed as with holding his services as with any business if you are not paid for services rendered then you do not work again until payment is made. It's like BT cutting you off for none payment of your phone bill and you requesting them to give you a temporary number until you can afford to pay the original bill

I feel for the travelling Plymouth fans and respect their loyalty to the team not to Bowden. He allowed tonight’s meeting to go ahead without a viable guest for Ben Barker which meant that two riders scoured 24 of the 30 points which brought the weekend tally for two meetings for 59- against 129 come on Bowden pay your riders they may well win an away meeting for you or is that too much to ask of you

All of the Somerset Team and managers please take note the almighty speedway guru from Poole has spoken and must be obeyed -
He also said that james must be a good prospect as he is the brother of Chris Holder. James has been living in Chris's shadow for a number of years and when he is interviewed the first question is always how is Chris etc etc we found at somerset that he was not a great points scorer but he could motivate the team, but lets face it would you want to try too hard for a boss that may or may not pay you for your efforts. But the one thing that I can see is that somebody is going to put Bowden firmly on his back before the end of the season and I will be there to hold that persons coat
