  1. that was the reason given last night,he was at leicester on sat putting some laps in so i was told.
  2. the rumour in the bar last night at leicester was fisher has left, any truth in that?
  3. i would agree and say you are spot on.it has to be better to have an all rounder such as glyn in the pits who can help out rider's with setup's and any mechanical problems they may have, the package has to be good with him being an ex rider a currant engine tuner and track curator.i just hope he has'ent taken on to much it will be interesting to see if eric boocock come's on board this week.exciting and interesting time's ahead for the loin's
  4. act in haste repent at leisure,so the saying goes.
  5. i have heard this said many times this season also.
  6. maybe that's what is needed and what,s been missing someone who speaks there mind,if you don't or wont listen to someone like eric then you may aswell shut shop.
  7. i think if they are looking at replacing anyone then i think that jari could be the one to go,as for bjerre i would expect to see him ride out the season with the lions,to try and replace him would be almost impossible.as for the track man i think glyn did a far better job and to bring him back is a good move aswell as eric boocock joining the club, thats got to be the way forward.as much as i liked jason and he did a good job but to be fair he is not in the same league as booey.i have been told eric is a very good track man and with him and glyn working togeather that's got to be a good combination,,time will tell but set aside all the doom and gloom i predict exciting time's for the lions.
  8. why is it always all about nemo all the time, there are six others rider's in the team.
  9. a shame for jason to call it a day and i don't think its fair for us to start to slag the promotion off as we don't really know what has gone on behind the scene's we can only read between the lines and put two and two togeather.on the plus side the promotion have brought in eric boocock, that must be the way forward for the club a brillant move in my book and with glyn back on board we might even get a decent track now.good luck for the future jason and thankyou for your effort's please dont become a stranger at leicester speedway. and how do you know this? please explain the mess they are in.
  10. out of intrest robert72 according to you which riders like/dislike the leicester track? i would of thought if they dident like it they would not of signed to ride this year.
  11. it seems you havent learnt a lot in 40 years then.
  12. and that is just what they dont need, the dirt needs to be left on the outside you knob ert.
  13. dont rise to nobert72 he will be back at school tomorrow, busy doing his paper round after school then his homework so hopefully he will go quiet on us.
  14. is that to do with the shape and the shale by any chance nobert72.
  15. would that be the shape and the shale your talking about nobert72?
  16. you are full of bright idears how long did it take to dream that one up,close leicester speedway down for a month mid season that's got to be the most ridiculous suggestion i have ever heard, thats maybe the best way to put the club at risk . in your view robert72 whats wrong with the track at leicester? ........................................... ah its ok i have just read your other 413 posts and i get the idear, its the shape and the shale. i think the shape and shale at leicester has started to take over your life maybe you should go and cut the grass or put some bedding plants in at home, anything if it helps taking your mind off shapes and shale.
  17. quote name = nobblytriers timestamp . Apparently Karlsson is one who likes the track prepared the way it is now i was talking to magnus in the bar after the meeting and he told me the opposite,he is not keen on the way the track is this year he is struggling to get his engines to work, he said its far to slick and just "spins up all the time" magnus much prefered the way it was prepared last year. i guess you wont ever please everyone no matter what you do to the track or who does it.
  18. i think magnus has got every right to a testimonial and good luck to him he has done his 10 yrs as required by the rule book,so what your saying is then that because all the clubs he has ridden for in the past decided not to keep him, it was his fault that he had to move on and because of rules, averages etc which are out of his control you say he has no right to be reckonised for his services.why shouldent a rider get a little somthing back i dont see a problem with it and certainly wont begrudge magnus or any other rider for that matter of it.enjoy your day mk.
  19. maybe you might come a close second to attendance figures to my home club leicester but i dont think you have a better attendance than us.i have only been once and i dident think support was that good alough there was fans all around the track.if you take your fans and put them at scunny or sheffield woud it look as packed? with a track a third of the size of anywhere else just a few fans would make it look busy are you sure you get as many supporters as you make out?maybe thats the reason for your budget team again next year.
  20. all your posts on all other threads all say the same thing i think by now we get the point your trying to make all you have done is moan moan moan all season about leicester's track but it still hasent stopped you going.if you dont like what you see then dont go simples at least then we wont have to keep reading your posts which are far more boreing than the racing at leicester.
  21. out of intrest which is the best race track in the country? in your view of course.
