  1. with roynon coming back in the next week or so maybe glasgow should give magnus karlsson a call as my guess is he will be looking for a team place soon.
  2. llya bondarenko rode for leicester in 2011 finished up with a 4.83 average.nice guy a good gater and fast on his day but his gear leaves a lot to be desired, put his on some good gear and he would be a different rider.
  3. just been reading on facebook his mechanic or tuner has found a big problem with his engine which is now sorted, hence him being back on it.if they let him go they just might regret it.
  4. by all accounts mr karlsson will be a free agent in a couple of weeks as he is only on a week to week contract and adam is very close to making a return so you had best be giving him a call before anyone else does.
  5. what about rob mear looks like he could do with some extra meetings to get his lakeside form back on track.
  6. that team on todays currant average will come in at 44.41 so you would need to shed 1.91 which i think is possible. good team but the problem you might have is karlsson rides in sweden on a thurs or maybe its a tuesday, not sure.
  7. just been having a play around with the team and by making a couple of changes i have come up with this based on bspa current averages and assuming roynon will be back in. doolan 7.36 bjerre 7.09 roynon 7.07 karlsson 7.06 nedermark 6.20 edberg 4.36 branford 3.00 total 42.14 there are a couple of other riders with similar averages that would also fit and come in under the 42.50 sanchez 6.20 eklof 6.24 monberg 7.26 i would love to keep nemo but on his 8.17 average i cant get him to fit.
  8. i wonder who will be paid first the riders or the scb.
  9. out of interest flagrag how do you know that magnus knows he will be released and also how do you know the club are paying what he asked for are you his manager? and zorro riding for £55 a point do you really think he will and do you really think he will be a cheaper option than nemo? maybe you do know it all please share.
  10. good post lions 12 there are a couple of good riders out there jesper b monberg is one who i am sure would do a good job and on an average of 7.26 is a steal but would he ride for £55 a point? i very much doubt it or he would of been in a 1-7 by now.justin sedgeman 4.99 nice average but he is thousands of miles away same as taylor poole. i would love to see nermark but he will want flights paying etc etc and i doubt he would get out of bed for what would be on offer. if we bought adam back in and i think at this stage it would be a massive gamble the guy has been injured for months rode 1 meeting for us and sadly suffered a serious head injury i cant see adam turning our season around at this stage i just hope the management dont release a rider who is scoring points to bring adam back who is having to start all over again, as much as i would like to see adam back with us i think with all the other problems we have in the team its a risk to far at the moment.if kauko went and we brought in a lower averaged rider to replace him it would put lasse at no 1,is he ready for the no 1 race jacket as good as he is i am not to sure. the only way i can see we could make a difference would be to release kauko on his 8.17 bring in nedermark or sanchez both on 6.20 save a couple of points there and replace branford with a 5+ rider ( if there is one ) to make us stronger at reserve.other than that lets just give what we have the benefit of the doubt for now, being a bit hasty has got us where we are now.
  11. the fact is win you did not if it makes you feel better lets say you finished second or runners up.
  12. if they were the better team like you say jackal then your beloved witches would of won simples,as it was they didn't so what does that tell you? don't come back at me with "when the track was fair for both teams" dont forget its a gate and go track its just you had the better gates later on in the meeting which allowed you to pull it back.
  13. so who in your mind are they going to change and who is available to change them with?
  14. peterbrough dont allow riders to double down from what i was told anyone know any different ?
  15. maybe other areas need looking at not just the riders we have, a happy team is a successful team a good motivator in the pits might help like jason used to be he always seemed to get the best out of nemo and mk when he was team manager.
  16. i dont think for one minute kauko will be replaced as its his testimonial year at leicester and dont be to sure on magnus being released why would you want to take a risk on bringing possibly an unfit rider in for a rider who is scoring points i know i wouldn't.the problem we have is clearly at reserve we dont have enough fire power lower down and dont forget lasse missing the last few meetings and kauko getting injured didn't help our cause.the reserves need looking at first but who is there out there? we let the last two decent ones go.
  17. is that the best we could do james seargent 3 x 0 last night at redcar.
  18. the thought of being able to eat them lovely scotch pies every sat night swung the deal i think glyn.
  19. i think they was and then it must of dawned on the track man that all there riders were there and none had missed their flights so he must of thought i had better put the plug back in.
  20. what is it with this gate four thing as we saw in the sky match at scunny on tues gate four is so much better and who was ever off it made the perfect start and thats how it seemed at somerset last night.must say i am disappointed at lasse, simon is in the same meeting today and he made the effort to be there last night why couldn't lasse? agree with the nielsen/karlsson clash nielsen knocked him clean off that was plain to see dont know what the ref was watching.
  21. i also agree and i hope he proves me wrong signing a rider on the back of one meeting could be a disaster. my hope is lewis dont take the huff and i wont blame him if he did i wouldn't like it if my boss came to me and said" you have now got to share your job " i am sure somewhere like scunny would offer him the chance of full time employment due to the problems they are having at the moment with their reserves.
  22. i think one of the main problems at leicester is the track get's ridden to death during the week sometimes and with no one there to keep on top of the preparation when glyn gets there on fri/sat its almost like he has to lay a complete new track again ready for sat night.i understand they have to rent the track out to bring some money back in for the club but if they have someone there on hand during the week to keep on top of the track prep it would make life a lot easier for glyn on a weekend and in turn the track would be far easier to prep and probably be a better racing surface and more consistent, producing better racing keeping fans and riders happy. .
