i think richard is a fantastic signing for you guys especially at home he is the best when it comes to riding on pot holes and bumps.
-
i think you will find there are a lot more riders to add to your list.
-
if doyley is going to be a no show how about a re think of the team with maybe 2 or 3 changes just an idea but how about nick morris 8.84 magnus karlsson 8.40 olly allen 8.09 brady kurtz 5.00 todd kurtz 4.86 charles wright 4.30 james sarjeant/max clegg 3.00 total 42.49
-
magnus i am told much prefers a grippy track to a slick one, by all accounts he has all his engines set up for slick surfaces.out of interest was last years plrc slick or was there grip on it?
-
keyboard mechanics this must be the new trend.
-
i might be wrong and not 100% sure but i think his posting id is snapper.
-
is it a possibility you all might be barking up the wrong tree and the reason morris has been dropped is because he will miss to many meetings for the rebels?do swindon have first call on his services over somerset? with jason also doubling up they can ill afford to loose them both if they want to retain the league championship again.i find it strange allen gets the nod over nick.
-
if its a fast starter you need look no further than nemo or karlsson more so karlsson who has to be one of the quickest out of the starts in the premier league they both dont seem to be in any teams as yet.
-
i think he rides on a tues in sweden and he did once tell me sheffield was his favorite track.
-
there will be some riders who rode for leicester this year looking for a team place,it seems like none of them have been fixed up yet.
-
there are still plenty of good riders around who are not fixed up allen, nemo, procter, karlsson, bjerre, vissing, seb to name but a few so a little way into the season you can always make changers.
-
it wouldn't surprise me if we dont see nick morris lining up for leicester next year.
-
dont forget karlsson he seems to ride ipswich pretty well judging by past results.
-
dont forget there will be a few leicester riders up for grabs as it looks like they are elite league bound, nemo, doolan, graversen, karlsson, bjerre. some good riders to choose from there.
-
the guy that finished runner up to him is also looking for a new club i am lead to believe.

magnus karlsson not any better than risager are you sure? magnus has been in great form lately and has beaten your beloved cook 4 times at three different tracks in the last 2-3 weeks.in saying that i believe he has a thumb injury after his crash at belle vue on wednesday night so the chances are he would not of been able to ride. -
its looking like leicester are elite lge bound next year so there will be some riders there looking for a team spot.probably nemo, doolan nielsen, graversen, edberg and karlsson some good riders there who ride your place well.
-
whats it got to do with leicester all they have done is invite belle vue over to race nobody from leicester has put the belle vue team together thats down to their manager.if the truth be known the leicester management are probably as disappointed as some of the fans at the team they are bringing.i will be going along to support our lads you never know it might just be a good meeting and it maybe the last time we ever see the likes of doolan, gravensen, karlsson etc strutting their stuff round bp.
-
leicester its looking like they are elite league bound next year so there will be a few riders from this years team up for grabs.
-
i probably wont get to see him i dont find the elite lge inspiring at all i will go and watch my speedway at either scunny or sheffield. you can keep the over rated elite league for me.
-
thats probably a done deal already
-
if the loins go elite i am sure there will be some decent riders up for grabs, nemo, doolan, karlsson, graversen, edberg who wont want to go into the big time with them.
-
i agree i would love and hope glyn is back and i am sure at times he has held the club together and without a doubt the riders have a lot of respect for him.the only thing i disagree with what you say is with roynon in the team we were never go to have an injury free run as sheffield also found out i just didn't expect it to happen as quick as it did, such a shame for the lad i would love to see him go a full season without as much as a scratch but is that a possibility? thank heavens mk answered the sos call.

whoever we have in our team for 2014 we must sort out the reserves, this is mainly where it all went wrong for us this year most of the season magnus had to ride his races on his own with no backup hence him not being involved in many heat advantages i am not in favor of an out and out no 1 but would much prefer an even balance through the team. as much as i like to watch craig cook it can also get a bit boring with him being so far in front and his average of 10.49 is also a killer when team building. i think we need to look at riders who can ride a point at least above their currant average and one rider i would have a leicester lad himself david howe on an average of 6.34 he would be first on my wish list. a fully fit howe is an 8 point man i would think no problem and while we are at it i would pinch another scunny rider thomas jorgensen he has talent waiting to pop out and on a nice average of 6.28.every team needs a good captain and who better is there than kevin doolan he is a must for me next year kevin has given 100% in every race i have watched him in i just wish he would cut down on his guest bookings a bit because i am sure he burned himself out towards the end.if the track is to stay the same and my guess it will then we need to look at who can and who cant gate because at leicester we need some good gaters and who better is there out there than magnus karlsson he must be looked at again for next season if he wasn't back i am sure there would be many disappointed leicester fans.i like alex and he has proved a decent reserve but he does seem injury prone but worth another go next year.the rest of the currant team for me its time for them to move on.most important we need to find a team manager and leave glyn to do what he does best, the track glyn does a Stirling job with the track and to try and team manage as well is asking to much as we have found out this year with the mistakes he has made.

i think it was down to the poor money that was on offer thats why we ended up with a load of wanna be riders on show, the big crowd we had should of paid the odd air fare or two i would rather watch lasse or magnus than the national league super star third strings we had, what was they thinking was they trying to give speedway a bad name?
