  1. It was. Apparently ref pulled it back for a Hans roller. Still wrong mind
  2. Wowzers. Go to a real track like Torun or Leszno, properly prepared & not dangerous. The track has one line which is allowing riders a big blast. It's bouncy & all the riders any bucking & rearing into the corners & therefore has made the passing. It's not been a bad meeting for that reason. MIdlo has said as much Brando just confirmed. Burn round the outside.
  3. It's not good racing. One line & every rider is going for it. Track grippy on the outside, slick on the inside. Riders have said as much.
  4. This could end up being dangerous. I just hope Swindon keep it close.
  5. One line, whoever gets to the dirt line wins. Who said Lathi would go well 😂
  6. I refer to my earlier post, Newman didn't look fast at the abbey a few weeks back & unless he makes a change today doesn't look fast!
  7. Where have I said I believe it, just making points based on loss in income, what Brad has said. I will add that If he can't hold the bike properly then he's potentially endangering other riders. Anyway, roll on the meeting! Certainly spiced it up a tad. Had it not been Newman I don't think much will have been said.
  8. Probably was, BWD wasn't fit last week & still isn't. Would have been silly not to have a backup.
  9. So basically you've taken a guess?! Why would a rider who's been out for a month & therefore not earning any cash forfeit his place in the side tonight knowing he can potentially take 7 rides....makes no sense to me. Let's say he gets £80 a point, he should score 8-10 at reserve, I'm not sure I'd take a dive for £640 - £800 loss, He even said he couldn't take his 5th ride last night as his hand was swollen, more money down the pan.
  10. Can you back up your last comment with factual eveidnce please...an email, txt message, WhatsApp post, would love to see this. If so, please share.
  11. BWD isnt on twitter as far as I'm aware. Message him ok his Facebook page.
  12. A fully fit Brad would have cleaned up tonight. On a wet, bumpy track it was obvious he would be missing. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that his hand has swollen up. I don't know as I'm not with him, just like the rest of you lot making assumptions.
  13. The same Jack Holder who missed Peterborough meetings (which by the way I completely understand).
  14. Playing devils advocate, had this been at Swindon first would all the Poole fans still be in uproar?
  15. A sacking nonetheless. Can't sit well with him. He's entitled to earn money. Surely you can see that.
  16. What a bizarre analagy, speedway riders are self employed. Can ride for who they want, when they want as it's been proven many times in the past. Didn't Poole turn there back on Newman, you can't have it both ways.
  17. Not sure that really makes a difference as the sport has evolved over the years. I saw Kyle Newman race at the Abbey two weeks ago & thought he'd clean up for both Leicester & Somerset. He didn't, he seemed down on power & confidence so to say it makes Swindon stronger before a wheel has been turned seems odd to me. I understand why you think this but he's not had a great season in any league, it's only because he was a Poole rider which has got the forum going crazy. BWD outscored Newman when we've visited Poole this season at number 3 & had he rode at reserve I would imagine he'd score lots of points. The fact he rode yesterday is irrelevant. We're told his injury flared up & the rider himself has said as much. Would a self employed rider really miss the opportunity of cleaning up at reserve tonight, I'm not so sure. Am I condoning it, no, am I saying it's acceptable, no. Just trying to give a balanced view.
