  1. They didn't have to do this so fair play to the club for the pricing structure.
  2. Massive pat on the back to the club for only charging £10 for the 2nd play off semi
  3. Swindon charging £10 for the return leg, fair play to the promotion!!! £5 for 11-16 & under 11's free.
  4. Woken up to it being dry, we did have lots of rain Tuesday & Wedneday mind so depends on how much water the track has taken. I did see heavy showers forecast for later but they could miss, perhaps I jumped the gun last night, time will tell.
  5. We've had so much rain in Swindon today & with the forecast for more rain overnight & throughout the afternoon tomorrow I really don't see this being on. My gusss is it'll be rearranged for a week Thursday if it's off.
  6. Something like that, but then thought, why am I even replying
  7. Swindon's crowd over the past month, month & a half have been very good, you can generally tell by the banks being busy. I would have a guess that the bank holiday meeting has 2.5 - 3k there. I would also guess that the Thursday meetings prior to & After that we're near 2k. Considering we had 4 meetings at home in a 10 day spell that's not bad.
  8. The weather made my mind up. Me & a mate said that Sunday we'd give it a miss for that reason.
  9. The mixed weather forecast was the issue for me. It's a 90-95 min drive when the traffic isn't bad. Didn't fancy making that journey for a rain off. Done that in 2012 & got near the track & had to turn around
  10. Just making some points, if you can't take those onboard then that's not my problem. Love, I have more fun at the weekend the most do in a lifetime.
  11. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yours differs from mine but that's what makes the debate. The bumps did not help at all, all bikes were bouncing into the corners. That can't be safe, can it? I even note that Darcy Ward made a comment on how bumpy it was.
  12. Most riders will tell you that going from slick to a wide dirt line is dangerous. Sudden grip which pulls you into the fence. Whilst it allows for "big blasts round the outside" it is dangerous as every rider is going for the same part of the track. Look at every heat, from the start every rider was aiming to get up to the high line. I accept that the track staff had limited time & rain didn't help.
  13. I hope many Cov fans make the trip at the weekend. Hopefully see you back in the top flight at some point.
  14. I didn't until it happened at the abbey earlier this season! Gate 3 broke them & stayed there off 15
  15. Rule change, if you break the tapes on gate 3 you can remain there now
  16. The fact Poole lost was down to 10 last places. Not down to one rider. Anyway, at least it's set it up for the return leg & kept it a lot more interesting then it would have been.
  17. Brad rode at 3 last time out. A much tougher number than reserve & scored 6 + 1. At reserve he should be able to match that, if not better it. We will never know though. If Lathi scores a min of 3 which he should have been able to do you win. Poole had 10 last places which is why you lost the meeting. Robins update isn't an official twitter feed by the way, ran by fans who do a good job. And he was told on medical grounds not to ride according to their updates thus Newman was legit.
  18. What's wrong with a rider celebrating a win. Nothing, he's entitled to do so. His interview during the break was interesting, said he needed more time on the bike. Was there to score points for Swindon & that was it. Again, he's self employed so it's perfectly acceptable. Should have have more points but looked slow in his first ride & made a few mistakes due to the 3/4 bend catching him out. It wasn't Newman which won the match for Swindon, it was Poole's own riders losing it for them. Lathi done what most said, struggle in the top 5 as he did previously,
  19. Would not have got out of Swindon until 5.30-5.45 if you left at 5. Takes 90 mins on a good run. I do work as well, finishing early wasn't an option. I also support the football team so split my cash evenly. Tonight wasn't an option for me. Where were all the locals? Looked empty.
  20. Did you not see the bspa race the other week when Morris beat Freddie who was on a tac ride? Anyhow, if that how you think a track should be then so be it.
  21. To answer your question SS, the forecast was lousy for day. I've done that journey for a rain off & it's not fun. Had it been okay I may have made the journey. I think you will find this is the reason for most Swindon fans. I wouldn't say many Poole made it out either. Oh, stop dining out on Brad not racing.
  22. Heat 2 absolutely. The heat Doyle was allowed back in as the red light was already on before he spun. Was due to be pulled back.
  23. Do you argue with yourself in a Dark room? I said I could see a draw coming up, wasn't far wrong.
  24. Keeps it interesting for th return leg but I still think we will be too strong at home.
  25. Perhaps you need to change your user name again after that admission. If you are a "Fanantic" as your user name suggest you should watch your team through thick or thin. Swindon in 2011 was a horrendous season yet I still went. Any credibility you had (which wasn't much) has now gone.
