For anyone who wants to know why Doyley said better than Lego Aweome Work JD!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsi3BR7pvUo
-
We did this year & it worked itself out okay, until the Agm is done & dusted no point guessing what the rules will be. Hopefully works in our favour for a change
-
Great post & summary of the situation for us. Doyley & Morris have to remain IMO.
-
Doyley has confirmed that he wants to be back next year, has his deal in place as signed the 2 yr contract at the end of 2016 so all should be good!!! Lets hope the Bspa dong mess it up this year, Monday & Thursday fixed nights, a min of 42.5 for team building please
-
So do you now see why your 8/9k per meeting for Magic comment was ridiculous. Basically you were saying £750 a point if you divide 9k by 12.
-
I did think those figures were excessive. No UK team could afford those type of figures, like you've said 3k is probably the max, 4k at a push but I doubt that.
-
Please can you back this up with evidence, all Im asking.
-
Please show me where this 8/9k per meeting has come from? He said The biggest deal in Pooles history. Everyone knows Poole dont pay the most but pay which is a big thing in Speedway & I respect massively. Id say that it would be 4K per meeting, if that.
-
Check the Glasgow owners out. Theyre millionaires. Not sure hairdressing paid that much When Morris rode for them, they paid for him to fly up from Heathrow to Glasgow & return flights for every home meeting. They have the money. Im just putting a logical argument for him riding over here. Perhaps he will see the Glasgow project if they come up as an exciting one. Think Poole will be Holder, Batch & Kurtz next year
-
Hes sponsored by Glasgow speedway so thats a possibility if they come up, they have owners who are minted so money wont be an issue. Visited them late this season & said how good it was....only track I can see him going too, fly into Glasgow easily enough as well.
-
Calm down folks - He only wants to ride in Sweden & the GP's (if he get's a wildcard). His boys both race & he has his academy team, probably wants to focus on this. Taken from the Polish site: ''The new Dackarna player wants to focus on driving in Sweden and counts on a wild card in the Grand Prix. - I decided that next year I will not ride on the Polish extraliga, and I will focus on the Dackarno start, and if I get a wild card in the Speedway Grand Prix series, I also want to play there. We have big plans for the 2018 season, which I will reveal after 31 October, but first I'm waiting for the decision on wild cards, so keep your fingers crossed.''

This is the Bspa, nothing is black & white.

If Killer ends up anywhere it'll be back at Swindon.
-
Surely a GP rider (as he currently is) won't come in on a 7.
-
For the first time in a long time we've options. Killer on a 7.1 is a must for me. Imagine Doyley, Nick & Killer as a top 3....would be a shame to not have Musielak mind.

So Ellis wants to stay at Swindon according to our local paper this morning.
-
http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/15590323._Title_winning_Robins_may_have_to_split_up___says_Rossiter/ Claims Ellis wants to stay. Would happily keep him. I guess that will be down to what Lakeskde do. Im sure lakeside will want both Ellis & Zach if they come up.
-
Surely it will do, Monday & Thursdays Work for most sides. I would hope JD is back. He thanked the management for staying with him with his high average.
-
No worries, I'd have the skipper back. Hoping we can keep most of this side together. Maybe Newman in for Ellis if the rumours are true.
-
No, signed a two year deal towards the end of last season - see below: ''JASON Doyle, one of the world's top speedway stars, has pledged his immediate future to Swindon Robins and will lead them into a new stadium. Doyle, fresh from a sensational win in the Polish SGP in Gorzow at the weekend, revealed to a packed Blunsdon crowd for the clash with Leicester that he will be with the club in 2017 and 18. And he says the Robins fans played a major part in his decision. "The Swindon fans have backed us through thick and thin and this feels the right thing to do," said Doyle. "When something feels 100 per cent right there's no point hanging around and I'm pleased to have a contract in place for British racing in September. "Maybe I can have a testimonial next year, too - but I'm not the kind of guy who has a testimonial and then disappears which is why I've agreed a two-year deal. I'm really pleased."''
-
Thats correct, has another year.

Trust the management team to get it right again in the winter as they did this season. Would like the majority back in fairness as Wolves managed too. Only time will tell on team building averages & what riders decide to make themselves available.
-
Wow, what a season. Touted as wooden spoon contenders at the start of the season to then go on that amazing winning streak of 17 matches with 8 Away wins & to be the first team to turn a deficit from your home first leg around! No one can take that away from us! Proud is an understatement! All the management, riders, mechanics, support staff deserve a massive pat on the back!
