This is Zach first meeting after a serious injury back at the end of July so he’s allowed some Slack. Not a bad start, 6 points down against a team most have as one of the favourites, roll on Thursday now. Oh, teamsuits will not be an issue as i’ll Be able to make the Swindon riders out.

Any Poole fans know the situation with Holder & a visa, being reported in Poland he hasn’t a valid one.

It makes no sense to me why all teams haven’t racesuits. The main sponsor at Swindon is pleased with them along with the other 9 on the suits. All in the same place....how many can you get on a race jacket?

Musielak has a suit for his first meeting. Only time we didn’t have team suits for riders is when we had guests. I really don’t see the issue. Even championship/NL sides have them.

I don’t get why you wouldn’t want teams racing in the same colours, not is it professional, allows team backers to be seen. Swindon said tonight they’ve a main team sponsor who’s on the front but also 9 other sponsors who have space on the team suits....can’t wait for Man City players coming out in odd kits

Happy to see that we’re being professional this year with team Kevlar’s. I can’t believe that other teams in our league will be pikey & not have team suits.....even championship sides have them!!!

Do you not all think team race suits allow for team sponsors to be clearly identified in a certain spot. It's also far more professional from a TV stand point. Imagine on the TV - Swindon vs Poole - one team in race suits, one not. Won't look good IMO - Before some say, In Sweden not all teams do, I don't like it there either...... I'm not trying to Poole bash, it's just an opinion. I will say the same to any side who don't use team Kevlar's.

Can Poole now afford Team Suits? Just wondering whether they will for TV as IMO it looks professional.

they will build as they go & probably restrict people going down the back straight IMO. Once that’s done, close the main straight down etc, the last bit will be altering the track at the end of the season is my guess. I think that the recently announced BAGS deal for which Swindon is one of the tracks has saved us, also the council appear to have backed us by not allowing the Abbey to be flattened in advance of any building Work.

Where have I said he’s on the same planet as Leigh, all I’ve said is he rides the Abbey as well as Leigh. I’ve been lucky to see Leigh ride at Swindon for all of his career & he is the master of the Abbey, Morris is fast becoming a master in his own right......oh, I watched Darcy & he wasn’t bad.

Morris will do fine thanks, arguably the best rider at the Abbey since Leigh. Trust me when I say this, the kid is only going one way & that’s up. He’s only 23.....

Everyone said the same last year, look how that turned out. Personally I'm not worried about us, seen enough in each rider this season to know that more is to come.

Speedway isn't won on paper. Looking at each side on paper there isn't much between them all if I'm being honest, It'll all come down to how each team starts the season & gels together.
