  1. That's a rider perspective who was out on the track.
  2. https://www.totalswindon.com/sport/batchelor-revels-in-swindon-success--targets-gp-return/ Batch’s comments which back up what we witnessed last night.
  3. I think Bellego will be Swindon's 28 day replacement for Musielak.
  4. Couldn’t agree more. He was confident in the track which allowed him to attack it at pace!
  5. My apologies. The track staff are working to grind out all the little issues I can assure you.
  6. So what about Troy's comments, never mentioned one ''hole, bump etc''.
  7. I'm going to bite here: - Doyle crashed at Poole earlier that day & clattered the fence quite hard due to poor track conditions. Swindon was nowhere near where it should have been come the evening meeting but what I will say is that our track has had an overhaul with bends 1 & 2 being bought in & a metre taken in from the inside all the way round. This is bound to take time to settle, not an excuse more like fact. We all said that they should have started earlier but the stadium owners would not allow this. Poole on the other hand really have no excuses, the track has been the same for years due to lack of money being spent & it's gone to pot. Riders are crashing far too often, surely it can't be rider error/over riding every time as we're told. Poole's shape is okay but to say it's ''fantastic'' is a tad optimistic. I do hope that the promotion spend money on it as it's far too dangerous currently. The blue groove picture going round is a joke.
  8. An honest assessment which is appreciated. I must admit I did expect your reserves to outscore ours last night. On paper Wells should be mopping up.
  9. Genuine question - Is the money there to make such a change? NKI & KK won't be cheap if they do fancy extra meetings (I'm sure I've read NKI doesn't).
  10. If so, How did Batch stay on going inside Bjerre into turn 1? I recall Ellis doing the same?
  11. This is it, he’s probably the most vocal in speedway & he’s criticised the track before & rightfully so. Tonight it wasn’t bad & the racing showed that which is all I was saying. He went between riders 2 or 3 times & if the track wasn’t safe he’d have poodled at the back..
  12. Ok. I’ll just end with this. Troy Batchelor who is never shy in coming forward has praised the track after the meeting. Said if you give him the tools to do his job he will preform like that. Said he’s enjoying turning up & not worrying about the track & bike set ups as the track has improved & will only get better. Now some may say “he’s a home rider, he’s bound to say that”....this is Batch, we will know he doesn’t stand for crap & we’ve seen this at Swindon so to say riding side by side was “dangerous” has massively over egged it.
  13. Rosco has said that we’ve something in the pipeline with a rider but won’t confirm until the deal is done. Guess a 28 day replacement for Musielak
  14. How can you slate a track which you weren’t even at (see Poole thread). The abbey track was as good as it’s been since being relaid/shaped. Track times tell you this. Edit - Fricke retired as his bike went coming into bends 1 & 2. I more than happy to admit when it’s bad & the other weeks against Poole it was. Think we had passing in most heats & that was because the track allowed it. Batch storming under Bjerre into bends 1 & 2 for example. I understand as a BV fan you’re probably upset but the track had nothing to do with do. We were the better side!
  15. No bumps at all. Track was decent, fast & close racing. Only have to see that by the track record being broken twice.
  16. Wasn’t the track meant to be sorted for this meeting! Such a shame it’s served up this. Have watched a few heats whilst in-between races at Swindon. Also, we’ve been constantly told that the dust was because of midday meetings, can someone explain to me why you’ve dust & a blue groove tonight? No excuses.
  17. What a result for us. Never expected to win by so many!
  18. Why didn’t Lemon put Fricke in for Wells....robins end up with a 5-1 & go 10 up.
  19. Wow!!! Rasmus Jensen take a bow! Off 15 metres & was 3rd lap 3....managed to get past Starke before chasing Berge....got him on the line!!!
  20. Fricke lightening in heat 5, 60.71....new track record. Batch had it at 60.05 in heat 4! Track is very good & some close fast racing!
  21. Perks has done more than Shanes in one meeting! Nothing against Shanes but he’s an upgrade!
  22. Going to go for a Robins win, not by 10 as originally said (before Musielak’s injury)....think it’ll be 47-43
  23. Tobi has said on Instagram he’ll be back sooner than first thought. Looks like he’s out of the cast & walking so perhaps the original diagnosis was incorrect.
