  1. philip island is in australia and always has the superbikes there. cars are often also called speedway abroad. our 1st gp is in new zealand in auckland
  2. the only shame is this should be on a free channel to encourage folk to watch and maybe even attend next season....a lot of speedway people take off the sports package in october and you would expect something like this to be shown during the season too.....i used to love going to cycle speedway all the years my ex husband and one of my sons rode but keep it up sky
  3. really, strange that, you wouldnt say the same with buster over the "stars" nickname would you!
  4. hello bigdave1. thank you for replying to my query, although i do not know if you actually are an official or not, i found your reply informative and polite, unlike some. just to let you know. i did comment to the girl on the turnstile that i was only there to watch the nl and it was already 1/2 way through the pl meeting, to which she replied. it doesnt matter it is a double header and i dont make the prices up. very informative that, had she had told me i would have waited and therefore not felt done over by rye house. i still find it very unprofessional that i did not rec an email back so i knew what was happening before i made the journey this sat gone.
  5. strangely, which part of OFFICIALLY did you not get????? i, unlike you, do not make a difference between leagues, are you a pl snob???? i go to pl and nl to see riders more than teams as i actually follow the el, i am and always will be a lakeside supporter, hence newcastle have 2 of my team riders in it and would therefore be coming to see them. oh gosh with all your comments regarding adam roynon, maybe you dont like richie worrall either. get over yourself. as i said i came to watch the nl meeting as was at work and couldnt get there in time for pl bash. but i do find you have a cheek when you are not sure yourself and i asked for an official answer as your club have not responded and still havent to a question emailed to them.
  6. does anyone know (officially) if we can use our admission tickets as a rain off??? i arrived at about 2.45 as i was working an hour away and didnt finish work till 1.30 and went to see the nl fixture. when i arrived i had to change in the car out of my work uniform, so prob hit the turnstile nearer 3pm. i queried the price as 1/2 the first meeting was over. so paid my £16 to see 5 heats of racing. i have emailed rye house, but no response so far. rather strange that jayne posted on here at 2.44 that the fixture was off. yet the riders didnt know anything in the pits at that point. had it been made public i would not obviously have paid to come in. thinking of going to see newcastle there on sat, but not if i have to pay again
