Belle Vue v Kent pos now 4th Oct
deathbymilkfloat replied to Old Crusader's topic in National League Speedway
Just a quick question, Why was Danny Phillips riding for Belle Vue in this meeting? instead of riding for his championship side Newcastle at Edinburgh! -
Oh dear zac is injured the meeting will be called off tomorrow due to adverse weather forecast for Perry Barr on Wednesday evening same as what happened for original staging of first leg 16/9 because he was injured and pulled out of u19 final the previous Saturday because r/r won't score as many points as zac would score the weather that day was perfect ideal for racing

Coventry V Cradley Heath (national League) 21/4/14
deathbymilkfloat replied to Ommer Mon's topic in National League Speedway
As a heathens fan I was appalled at the treatment they gave to Ryan terry-daly and at those idiots trying to climb into the pits,it was a bad decision by the referee to disqualify Clegg in heat 14(cradley lucky in heat 1 when greaves and crang touched crang got disqualified but could have gone either way,so i think referee levelled his decisions out by doing clegg in heat 14)but at the end of the day I blame the defeat on the team manager who in my opinion and several others stood by me should have replaced Clegg for Williamson,Williamson would have gated and gone and avoided any first bend bunching and would have gone on to at least get 2nd place which would have meant a final score of 45 all and a fair result on a evening of very good speedway entertainment, fair play to the storm for coming from 8 points behind to grab the victory though. -
Kent Kings V Dudley Heathens 26th Aug **3pm Start**

Well done Kent made the gate and that was that, what I was surprised at was the volume of the cheering when a Dudley rider fell,if that had been Dudley fans cheering fallen Kent riders they would have been slated once again -

When you take into consideration all the serious injuries Adams had,the total number of meetings he's rode in won't equate to much more than 2 full seasons racing
-
i agree with you there, its always adam roynon that gets mentioned, never richie worrall who also rides in all three leagues regularly, there are several other nl riders been doing well in the premier league but no they never get mentioned, its always roynon because no one else likes the heathens. back to the subject of the thread, welcome back mr garrity a highly entertaining young rider,im looking forward very much to seeing him ride in the nl again.

dont think heathens will score many points in toms r/r rides, its going to be a lot closer in my opinion than most people are thinking,i hope byron doesn't have his customary fall tonight as a lot will depend on how he performs this evening,im going for 49-41 in heathens favour, hope all riders stay safe and have a good meeting.
