  1. Could you now give us your considered opinion on Barker?
  2. Don't know what Barker said but it couldn't have been very professional. As for being a professional rider he comes across as a bit of a twit.
  3. Can't see anything other than having to do the housework today.
  4. Adding washing up liquid to the water breaks surface tension of the shale, allowing the water to penetrate quicker. I think it's a trick used Downunder.
  5. It was supposed to be a joke, sorry if you didn't find it funny. Commentary didn't bother me, I quite like them. Nigel's sound was O.K. but Kelvin sounded a bit tinny.
  6. Don't think a track in space would be enjoyable. There would be no atmosphere.
  7. Always a big Monarchs support when they have the scent of blood in their nostrils. Cookie outstanding.
  8. Following another couple of bad injuries (Stead and Holder) I think something must now be done about the speed of the bikes. I know that it's called SPEEDway but I think that bikes are becoming to fast for the riders reaction time.Tracks haven't improved to match the bikes, O.K. we now have air fences but in my opinion riders have a false sense of security. Following spectacular crashes we hear "If we didn't have an air fence that would have been a serious injury" Well if we didn't have an air fence maybe riders wouldn't ride on the edge of what is safe and what is madness.
  9. Thought this was a Glasgow v, Ipswitch thread However, teams should have their own riders. Enough of this doubling up unless you are British under 21 years old.
  10. Think there's a bigger clown at Birmingham . At least Joe could teach riders to race fair and square.
  11. Jonas Raun seems to be the name in the frame.
  12. Didn't stop them announcing Andre Compton on Sunday.
  13. Don't know about that but a couple of wind bags at Ashfield could blow it up if we had one.
  14. No disrespect to Adam but I would rather not have him at Glasgow, at least not this year.
  15. To be honest I don't think that they made the right decision to go for a 3p.m. start. On a sunny day it will be warmer during the meeting causing the track to dry quicker. When Danny goes out with the wheel to generate some grip it also aerates the shale drying it out.
  16. Web says they hope to announce something today. P.S. has RED ALERT run out of steam?
