  1. I wouldn't argue with that. If you read some of the posts above E.L. supporters suggest that they just need to sort out their league and everyone else should just toe the line. P.L. clubs should also buy their own riders. If a rider goes out on loan it should be for the season no jumping up or down between leagues.
  2. They can pick and choose all they like. They should be told that the choices are E.L., P.L. or N.L., depending on ability, or ride in another country of their choice.
  3. How about E.L. teams use their own riders? If they want a P.L. or N.L. rider to ride for them.........buy them and use them, one rider one team.
  4. I honestly don't see why any P.L. club would want to step up.The "second tier" has always been better run. If there is going to be another "amalgamation" it must be to the benefit of the P.L. not just another bail out for the E.L.
  5. If there is enough room for four bikes side by side on the straight then the bends must be at least the same width, i.e. the straight has to be the narrowest part of the track.
  6. Probably a shovel for lifting dog crap from the parade ring, there was some crap lying on the first turn too.
  7. What is this sun thing? We don't have one of them at Glasgow.
  8. He kicked me! As we say up here....Bjerre you're a wee lassie. If you can't take it don't give it.
  9. At least the riders listed turned up. It was a fair meeting. The losers today were the people who didn't turn up. Cheers James.
  10. So to make speedway easier we do away with why we go to speedway........... ENTERTAINMENT
  11. The forecast was for rain, so they watered the track in the morning.
  12. Better watch out Paulco, if Flying Tiger reads your post you'll be in front of a firing squad.
  13. Heavy rain when I arrived, track looked pretty bad. Not much could have done whilst it was raining but they maybe could have when it stopped. They had three tractors going round tyre packing a couple of weeks ago and the track ended up on the dry side. Of course it turned out a nice night As most supporters have to travel a bit to get to the track maybe they could have held off a bit longer.
  14. You could right. This will be another financial disaster.
  15. Always a rider I liked to watch. R.I.P.
