Maybe time for a British League with riders committing to riding in Britain during our season. If they want to ride elsewhere they can but they can't miss British meeting to do so.

There is not many that don't, but you're not looking for a nice boy. I would rather have a Nicki Pedersen in my team. -
Ah, Paisley that's the team that couldn't beat the Tigers.

Agree with speed ace about using meeting threads for another subject, but when someone else raised the point I wasn't going to start a new thread. It does annoy me when a thread goes off in a completely different tangent. Oops maybe I should have posted that in the "What annoys me" thread.

Teams on Northern tours used to spend the day at Beaton's bus garage doing their bikes.

I made a suggestion about installing the temporary type of terracing that they have at Redcar. I was told that it would be expensive and at the moment the answer was no. If the plan to build the speedway and football academy goes ahead it would be a few years before anyone came through that into a team place. In the short term, in my opinion, spectator facilities are more important. Other than that I'm satisfied with the developments. -

I don't think that guests from the same section should be allowed. A rider could score or not score depending on what would suit his own club.- 123 replies

How come Glasgow volunteer supporters managed to build three tracks, Blantyre 1 and 2 and Shawfield, without contractors? O,K. we had assistance from supporters who owned plant but in the main it was volunteers.
