Firstly, well done on today's meeting. However I must register my disappointment, in fact disgust, at the lack of respect in the passing of Betty Beaton. We had, in my opinion, a half hearted mention mention of Betty's passing mid meeting. Betty was the power behind the throne of Jimmy Beaton and work tiressley and without praise for Glasgow Speedway. At least Betty deserved an acknowledgement pre-meeting with a minute silence. Edit to say, No programme mention either.

Membership of the W.S.R.A. is £25 a year, although senior riders are exempt dependant on age. Fund are used to assist riders who have been badly injured or are in a wheelchair or have hit hard times.

Does Garry not have some nerve damage causing paralysis to his face? Given his other injuries he must be on some kind of pain relieving drugs.

Met Antonio,and Ole Olsen, at Cardiff Airport this morning. speedway supporters were congratulating him, taking selfies and getting his autograph. Other passengers who didn't know who he was but knew he must be famous started taking photos and shaking his hand.
