Thank you very much for your suggestion but being two and a half hours away locals whould probably still beat me.

The ones in front of me certainly didn't look as if they needed a seat, O.K. looks can be deceiving.

At Workington supporters have folding chairs which the use between races and stand against the wooden fence during races. This means that the second row of spectators are about three feet back. It's not even as if they're elderly and need a seat.

Is that not better than starting with the League? Unless you start with challenge matches, then we run out of dates at the end of season.
