  1. I was going to say Berwick, but as you say it's been noted many times.
  2. Would be even better if Workington had a stadium to enter.
  3. Don't know if it still does but the riders licence entitled them addmitance to a seat in the stand subject to availability.
  4. I'm a member and it's the first time I've heard that. Former riders who were members could get a Gold Card for an exta £5 which allowed them free entry if they were accompanied by a full paying adult but it was scrapped.
  5. i think it was scrapped last season, although some tracks allow former team members entry.
  6. The BSPL don't let former riders in free of charge, why should the ex-riders help the promoters?
  7. The RM told me my complaint isn't with them but with SS. They have a contract with SS, not me, so it's up to SS to complain.
  8. I would have accepted a Monday delivery every week, but getting previous week's one on a Wednesday and then getting the following one on the Thursday was too much.
  9. I cancelled my subscription a few years ago due to erratic deliveries, ASDA next to me have it occasionally Morrisons usually have it but that would mean almost a five mile round trip.
  10. But if there's not enough room then it wouldn't have been 600. You could get 600 into Berwick whereas you couldn't at Glasgow.
  11. The problem isn't the number of spectators, it's the size of the stadium to allow social distancing.
  12. I've been saying the same thing but my wife doesn't go to speedway so it fell on deaf ears. Seriously though, top Brits racing abroad does nothing for British speedway except in international meetings that get staged abroad.
  13. Remembering George, Glasgow and Berwick, on this day. R.I.P.
  14. Derek Smith was the same on the Glasgow webcasts.
  15. We get a lot of different mail delivery people depending on the time of year. Yesterday it was not one that I've seen before, he delivered the mail for my neighbour on my right to us and our mail to the neighbour on my left who sometimes stays with her daughter for a couple of days.My son was expecting an item and luckily she was at home and brought in it to him.
  16. Strange that the FIM ban Anlas tyres for GP's and British speedway announce they'll be used here next season.
  17. Rumour in greyhound circles, Newcastle and Sunderland about to close. Trials tomorrow cancelled and a meeting with staff to be held.
  18. Unless his team(?) drops down he'll never know, he's a "big" league snob.
