  1. Following Glasgow, in the 1960's. girls on the centre green with boards T-I-G-E-R-S problem was when they turned to face the back straight and showed S-R-E-G-I-T.
  2. The hotels charge the going rate, it's about supply and demand.
  3. Maybe they could have it at Cardiff with the roof it would be on and as a much bigger stadium more people could go.
  4. If I remember they were blue with a white design on the front.
  5. Pair of racing boots. On today's show there was a scrap book with an action drawing of a speedway rider, or as the restorer called a scooter.
  6. Someone who rode at Glasgow a couple of seasons ago for instance.
  7. Need to wait and see if you can see at Newcastle with new lights needed for the dog track.
  8. SIS, Sports Information Services, will beam racing to the bookies.
  9. The greyhounds are the primary tenants of the stadium and have said that refurbishing the stand is not viable as they won't use it. I am asking about it being used for the speedway you keep going back to dog trials. I have seen one reply to you and not one to my post. As for your sarcastic comment, I have been involved in greyound racing for twenty eight years.
  10. Question for Tecknik. If the speedway starts in April and the stadium owners don't have the stand refurbed what happens to spectator facilities? The greyound side will take care of its self.
  11. I know all about greyhound racing. If the speedway opens in April and the stand has not been repaired what happens?
  12. Reading on a greyhound forum that dog trials will start in April but the stand will not be in use. Dog meetings will run mainly in the morning so it is not viable to repair the stand.
  13. There is an electronic gating device, it may have been made by the guy who made magic boxes.
  14. Folk still probably trying to catch Workington History cheques.
  15. Charlie's bike has been on Ebay for a while now. Showed Bud Porteous, Charlie's mechanic, the advert but he was unsure if it was genuine or not. Charlie sold a bike to a Sheffield junior and it was found in a garden shed, it was on display at the Fanzone at Cardiff.
