The Speedway Show - Saturday 15th November 2025
tyretrax replied to Mick Bratley's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I suggested an exhibition to my local team in our home town on the weekend before we opened for the new season, there was no charge for a stand. Although it wasn't a bike show as such there would be bikes on show along with other organizations. No one was available, it was left to an independent group to have a small display, including a speedway bike, and handing out leaflets. Later in the season there was another open day that was again suggested with the same response. I must say that there was a lot of people interested in the display many who used to go to speedway but didn't know it still ran. -
To W.B.W. over how many meeting did it take to reach thirty minutes of tractors going round? If you say one meeting, which one?

I'll keep you in the dark.

I know where there's lights available.

Yes, Leon Flint is good at leading a sing song.

Why do people criticise promoters for going abroad for the AGM, they don't usually have a holiday mid season? People moan about cost of living but jet off to Spain on holiday.
-
That was because he was signed mid season and he alreadyhad his diary planned, add to thar Poland rearranging rain off on dates when he should've been racing here.

Are you saying Poole are skint, or are you just thinking you're being smart talking about Glasgow's finances?
-
If you're referring to Glasgow, how do you know that they do? Are you in the know or just guessing?
-
They could deduct a point from the team whose rider caused the abandonment.
-
And your point is? It didn't affect tonights meeting.

So are you saying people who had to be put on a ventilator to keep them alive, including my wife, only had a bad cold. -
Why would that be a problem? All stadia in use are privately owned but sub let to speedway.
