  1. Not sure he is injured. They said his arms were hurting from doing consecutive heats so sat out heat 15.
  2. Same for me by saying by replying to someone saying I don’t know what the fans are expecting the management to do. I replied with ‘probably not to weaken the team with every rider change. Quite simple really’ And in response to who do you suggest they sign ‘Not for me to suggest who they sign but every single change has reduced the team average. Simple maths means we are weaker. Previous rules i actually think we were close to the minimum averages’ These were worthy of being removed. Nothing controversial but obviously someone doesn't like not blowing smoke up the management teams bottom . As Ricky Gervais said ’This is the thing about freedom of speech. Everyone agrees with it until you hear something you don’t like’
  3. People keep going on about money. I honestly don’t think it’s a problem. The guy is absolutely minted. If he wanted Bartosz he could have him.
  4. No Tungate had the inside racing line and Scott moved over onto it to try and block the move. Sadly he was too late. It was Scott’s slight error in judgement that caused the stoppage. Like I said in real time I would have blamed Tungate but TV replays show he wasn’t the guilty party for the stoppage.
  5. TBF in real time I would have excluded Tungate but watching the extensive replays in the bar Scott did try to drop it on Tungate when he had the outside line to use. You could see from his left arm position how hard he pulled it across Tungate. There was no racing room left so contact was always going to be the outcome. I don’t especially rate last night’s referee most of the time but i genuinely feel she made the right decision.
  6. Competitive night with both teams suffering at times to drop points. Good meeting for the home fans and the BSN fans. Hagon is improving all the time. Ashton is so classy when he hits the front. Good signs for Team GB the next generation. I really liked the respect Heeps showed to Ford after he wiped him out. Very classy.
  7. Maybe do the classic one meeting the quit to allow a facility as Covatti replacement. I am sure with the injuries around he could still do a job in Championship. Berwick would suit his style.
  8. Like the Leicester meeting last week, a bit of a painful watch. I wish Birmingham all the best but they need to get some grip into that track.
  9. Leaves Milik on a nice average for Poole next season. He’s a better rider than the version Birmingham have had this season.
  10. https://www.knightfrank.co.uk/properties/commercial/to-let/odsal-stadium-rooley-avenue-bradford-west-yorkshire-bd6/LDL012337943 up for sale again.
  11. If Josh MacDonald wants to come back over they could do a lot worse on his average. Didn’t have any luck at Oxford but has potential to be a solid reserve.
  12. Up by M54 J2 there are some parcels of land big enough for a track.
  13. Bewley Fricke Dudek Tai Thomson Probably same injury replacements as this year.
  14. Hmmm I was up near there for football last year. I can’t see getting permission given its location. Happy to be proved wrong. Could easy attract a decent following in its proximity to urban areas and transport network.
  15. Was Tarasenko due to be missing tonight? Some talk (purely that) he was wasn’t on his morning flight suggests they either they told him not to bother as it was going to be called off or it was a tactical rain off as no Vissing as well. Either way gutting for the end of season format and the fans. Let’s hope they can agree a date with full strength teams.
  16. Not sure anyone can given some of the comments on other threads.
  17. Who owns the stadium these days? What’s the estimated rent at Newcastle? It is too good to lose to the sport but we need sustainable costs. You don’t need rocket ships to make for good racing and it is about time we did a reset and doing something about it.
  18. Popped up from Reading and took in the match. Was my second meeting of the season first being Newcastle away at Poole, so I have seen Archie Freeman’s both points! I was pleasantly impressed by the competitive fight that Newcastle showed. Unlucky in the end that Edinburgh just had that little bit extra. Enjoyable meeting and I would have said not that bad a crowd compared to what has been reported. Certainly deserves more support. Just to add I thought the programme was the best I have seen for £3 for many a season. Very impressed in the quality.
  19. I already know of six people ex-racers fans who have said they will be buying Oxford season tickets.
  20. I know redevelopment was sort a few years back, but the facility should be looking to be purchased by British Speedway as a development centre.
  21. Bumpy as hell and nothing to keep the riders upright. Terrible track conditions. No excuse for it.
