Poland 2015 Season Extraleague News
Kitch87 replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
The reason why Gorzow have a conditional license is because they need a new airfence, it is past it's expiry date, I think it is from 2007, unsure. That's the condition, they will receive a license as long as they get a new airfence. They knew this would be the case in advance. They are talking 200k zloty for the airfence, and want the local authority to pay for it as they only rent the stadium from the local authority. -

Zmarzlik has a contract with Gorzow up until he is 21. Cyfer also has contract, and Sundstrom is in his 2nd year of 2 year deal. Their 1-7 is complete. They are just looking for a backup rider, preferably Polish. Przedpelski also has a contract with Torun, they are just looking for a new reserve to partner him. -

2013 Best Ever Gp Line Up?
Kitch87 replied to Gavan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Iversen is certainly capable of winning a GP, he is currently one of the best riders in the world around the Gorzow track, he is the current track record holder and has broken the track record there at least 3 times in the past 18 months. I'm not saying he will win at Gorzow, i'm not even saying he will get to the final, but I'm just saying he is most certainly capable of winning the GP at Gorzow as long as he's well prepared for it. Zagar is also very good around Gorzow and is more than capable of winning there but again it all depends on how it goes at the time, also the GP's return to his home nation and you can be sure he will be well up for that one in Krsko. -
I'm not sure where you get that Dudek could have ridden in Pardubice, he's been pretty damn ill and has known his season is over, there's noway he could have ever ridden in Pardubice. Dudek: http://translate.goo...ved=0CCAQ7gEwAA Zmarzlik: http://speedwaygp.co...iks-season-over Przemyslaw: http://speedwaygp.co...licki-home-soon Piotr: http://www.worldspee...cle_21466.shtml Adamczak: http://translate.goo...ved=0CCcQ7gEwAA Musielak: http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/315742/pech-polskich-juniorow-trwa-koniec-sezonu-dla-musielaka&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/315742/pech-polskich-juniorow-trwa-koniec-sezonu-dla-musielaka%26hl%3Den%26qscrl%3D1%26rlz%3D1T4ADFA_enGB353GB353%26biw%3D1350%26bih%3D808%26prmd%3Dimvns&sa=X&ei=qdiPUPbpMaSV0QWa14H4AQ&sqi=2&ved=0CCEQ7gEwAA

Janowski Is Polish U21 Champion
Kitch87 replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway

Whoever wins the polish u21 championship is the polish u21 champion. They also have a golden helmet (for pole any age) and a polish championship (for pole of any age), whoever wins the polish championship is the polish champion. The helmets are just prestige competitions for them to try and win, they also have a bronze helmet for u19s. The championships are different competitions, the more important ones, to crown the polish champion and polish u21 champion. -
If he can beat an opposition rider and say get 3 or 4 points then that would be massive for gorzow and could be a vital part of a win, but if he gets 5-1'd in heat 1 then it will be hard for him after that. Not sure if its allowed at this time of year or not but i'm sure I read an article that said if gorzow get to the final they may get a rider on loan for Zmarzlik. Didn't think it was allowed at this stage but if so it would be interesting. I think they would need one to beat tarnow over 2 (assuming that they make the final)
-
You may be right, but you never know, having no reserves (or ones that won't really beat an opposition rider) makes massive pressure on all 5 seniors to all perform. If the seniors are on form for the whole meeting then I agree with you they should win, but all it takes is for one of them to have a bad meeting, or for a couple of them to start well but then end badly, and it could be very close. If gollob is at 5 he will have to keep winning his first few just to get a 3-3, if he ever doesn't win it should be heat advantage to zg, and if falubaz are down, like today, they will just keep replacing the crap riders with the top ones. Just got a feeling it could be closer than some might think, probably because they have 2 very crap reserves.
-
That could cost them big gifting a 14 point lead to draw. Clearly weakened by the loss of Zmarzlik who got paid 10 last time at falubaz having to replace him with a rider who got 0, whilst zielona gora somehow had 3 riders in protasiewicz, Dudek and loktaev all taking 7 rides and getting paid 43 between them. Falubaz havent lost at home in years and being 14 up was the perfect oportunity to finally someone breaking falubaz' fortress whilst it was a brilliant fight back from zg helped by the fact of the 3 above riders being allowed 7 rides each, it was an equally shocking performance in the 2nd half of the meeting by gorzow, will that cost them, going home but will have no reserves again needing the 5 seniors to all be on fire throughout the whole meeting from 1 to 15. Roll on the next meeting...

How Good Is Zmarzlik?
Kitch87 replied to stratton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Yes, reserves in Poland have to have 3 rides, unless you are a certain amount of points down, maybe 6 at home or 8 away then you can replace them and they don't have to have 3 otherwise they have to have 3 rides. And any talk of Zmarzlik might become a one track pony absolute nonsense, the guy is only 17 years old, in his 2nd season, this year he has already had maximums at Gorican, and Lublin, this season the day before he turned 17 he broke the Tarnow track record which he now holds and he was only 16 when he did it, he rode very well in the Holsted round of world u21 final last season scoring more than likes of Pawlicki & Ward in that one, a smaller track than gorzow, He rode well in Pila not so long ago in the Polish individual semi finals, He had a good meeting in Malmo in 2010 a decent meeting in masarna avesta last year, a decent performance in vetlanda, he rode well considering who he was against and the fact he was at number 1 away at Rospigarna Hallstavik this season etc etc, I could go on for ages about performances on other tracks but at the end of the day this guy has been riding speedway for many many years since he was very young and is a natural talent on the speedway bike, whenever his bikes are set up well then he can absolutely fly regardless of the track. His away heats average this year is 1.556 and home is 1.883 which isn't a massive difference really, then compare this to the guy above him in averages and the guy below him in averages which are Freddie Lindgren and Kenneth Bjerre their heat averages away are 1.241 and 1.231 yet at home are 2.259 and 2.000 which is a big difference between away performance and home performance compared to Bartek. Yes he wasn't at his best in Gdansk, but on the otherhand he was brilliant in Czestochowa this season. If you know enough about Bartek then you will know he has had many good performances on a hell of a lot of different tracks big, medium, small, in many different competitions, including when he was u16. -
How Good Is Zmarzlik?
Kitch87 replied to stratton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
You're looking at it the wrong way mate, Dudek more older and more experience, was Dudek as good as Zmarzlik is now when he was 17? The answer is no he wasn't. Give Zmarzlik another 3 years until he is Dudek's age and he will probably be better than what Dudek is now. Can learn a lot in 3 years at this age.
