i'm not ruling anybody out but because the fen tigers and eagles are by far the most completed teams with the fen tigers looking to have the edge on paper . will it make much difference ( after only 4 meetings ?) when all 4 reserve's will possibly find themselves in the top 5 with dugard & powell and bebee & kinsley at reserve ?

i'm sure i read a few months ago that daniel spiller had chosen to ride for germany so wouldn't that stop him from being in the n.l. no reason to expect nathan won't choose to do the same.

kelsey's to young to get married , he should see a bit of life first . i agree with you on powell but i've aligned his poorer performances to the wetter tracks even at arlington , think there's more to come from him so well worth a team place even on his average.

i'll be as happy as the majority of supporters will be to see a bees or storm side back on track , and i wish them the best of luck . but i hope they've thought long and hard about it rather than it being the only alternative to no coventry side at all . i really can't see how enough fans will make the trip to leicester to keep them going for the full season when few seemed to watch them on my visits to brandon in the n.l . what the league doesn't need is another young stars like last year.

i've loved having georgie at arlington but missed so many meetings at the end because sheffield were in all the semi's & play-offs added to the 6 or more regular season i would like jake , tom & josh to be our big 3. definitely jason only i thought he was already spoken for like drew. definitely no reassessment for me . it's a teams good fortune to pick up a 'wonder kid' if they're lucky and anyway if he rides next year like he has this he'll be at no1 after 4 meetings . my only problem is the next time i see him he'll be sticking it to eastbournes reserves and possibly one or two heat leaders. great prospect and shouldn't be handicapped for being special.

i don't think it's anything to do with insanity , just pure necessity unfortunately . stock car meetings take priority when the schools are out. from the pictures i have seen of packed terraces and stands , from just the rubbish that's left behind i would guess that they take more money from food and drink at these meetings than they do from the entrance money from speedway . if there were no cars i doubt if there would be any speedway at arlington . that's not to say i'm happy about it but it's certainly the lesser of 2 evils as i used to watch newport .

might have picked up a few points in ht 14 but not enough to make any difference . i think it was ht 9 before we saw a red or blue helmet cover come out of bend 1 in front. plenty of fight in the side got us to a 12 point lead but they made it hard for themselves and i'm sorry but bates should never be coming 4th behind shuttleworth & woodhall when they were struggling themselves. if they gate like that in manchester 30 points wouldn't have been enough .

in hindsight he shouldn't have been so honest . it would have been better to have kept quiet and given the 'my van has broken down on the way' excuse 2 hrs before it was due to start .perhaps the powers that be would prefer deceit .
