  1. can't see it myself, with all the travelling the riders do in a season , i think he might find something else to do as that's one hell of a trip from the manchester area when he's not riding and with a dodgy forecast. might still make the trip myself if i'm not too tired , the forecast improves and i've stopped sulking over missing the finals. hope it's a good day for everyone at arlington either way.
  2. met office backs you up now alex , hopefully it'll change again by tomorrow. that could come back to bite the eagles, tom bacon outscored ben hopwood in the lge encounter , i wonder what he'll score with a practice a week before.
  3. just like to echo much of what is above, thank you and please carry on next season.
  4. i suppose that makes sense. i didn't connect the 2 as i don't attend the bash, just very disappointing as it looked like i'd get to see one final on 22nd as it was reserved, just didn't know it was reserved for hang-overs. roll on april for me then. good luck everyone.
  5. why if sat 22nd is in the fixtures as being reserved have they gone with 6.30 on sun 23rd for the first leg against the brummies , burkin frilliant !!!!!! alex the forecast on the bbc website is better for saturday , yesterday it said rain after 10.00 pm but now says no rain.
  6. i'm all for positive thinking but i don't think cradley are beaten yet, and we have to get all six riders fit and well through the meaningless meeting at kings lynn tonight aswell so i for one am just crossing my fingers , for now.
  7. blimey i thought we were making an effort but we're only travelling 330 kms. there is rain forecast in the next few days but so far not on saturday until after the meeting. have a good safe journey and give adam our best wishes.
  8. i've got a better idea why don't you win the lottery and tell them where to put their shifts or have a word with the IT1st people and get the kids in at brighton.
  9. sad day , but can't come as any real surprise . all i'd say to any of the people involved in the running of the devils , come back and join us in the national league just for one year before you walk away , it's saved a number of clubs hopefully will do the same for you. good luck.
  10. don't you dare suggest that mrs cb , i'd never get to see them
  11. i've gotta say that it's a good job we have such an advantage on our giant 50p of a track because we're really rubbish away.
  12. i hope next season the speedway star give the elbow to whoever writes the buxton race reports and head hunts LT. then it would be worth £2.90.
  13. where is the lad from ? as he is certain to be in the n.l & p.l when he's 16 so ipswich/mildenhall might be very handy. just checked myself, from norwich, favourite tracks rye house & scunthorpe, favourite team kings lynn and goes well at the show ground so i think your'e right macca & s4k , the tigers have got some serious competition for him if he isn't sighed up already.
  14. marvellous result , didn't see that coming after saturdays result and the loss there in the league. only it says that jordan jenkins is unattached but i thought he had been signed up by mildenhall along with another top youngster ?
  15. i somehow think your riders won't have given it up quite as easy as you have though.
  16. it will be close as the eagles need 7 pts from sat/sun to draw level with the kings, i'm sure the kings lynn meeting is after the cut-off ?
  17. is that because they can be so unfair or you have a dodgy heart ?
  18. that wouldn't be aloud today , p.c. and all that.
  19. thanks jj. it's also very risky and potentially disastrous in an important meeting if one of the six gets ruled out of a meeting early on. i don't like it at all.
  20. can anybody bring me up to speed on our reserve guest on sunday as i know nothing about connor fletcher. ta.
